It’s not often I write a review for a product. But this time I’m willing to take the time to do so. This gun safe is an amazing product. I really like the options available to open it. It has small included keys. It has a biometric fingerprint scanner, or you can use a six digit programmable code. The code is easy to program. It took me less than two minutes to register several fingerprints and my own personal code. The installation is easy as well. There are multiple ways to mount it, or simply place it on the floor. The only gripe I have, which is a minor one, is the keyhole is underneath the safe itself. So depending on how you mount it, it may be difficult to reach. But it’s a well priced, strong safe for quick access to a firearm. No complaints at all!!!!!

Safe was well constructed, easy to install, and simple to set up. Biometrics works really well. Gun slides out nice and smotth. I definitly recommend this product.

Awesome sturdy construction and pretty solid finger print recognition. Mute mode makes it nice and discreet and it was pretty easy to mount.

This is a nice mountable safe for bedside or under desk of home office. It comes with a usb-c cable so you can keep in plugged in but also has a battery compartment. The foam padding is firm but not scratchy so it won’t damage your gun. It has a number pad for entry or biometric. This works really well. I like that the emergency key access is on the bottom so even if my kid found the key it’s hard to find the access hole for the key.

The Langger biometric/slider handgun safe is nicely constructed and is a good value compared to other competitors . It holds my 1911 plus two extra magazines with ease. The biometric sensor was easy to program and recognizes my fingerprint every time. Regular keypad entry works just fine too. The slider opens almost instantaneously when the sensor reads your fingerprint or accepts the combination code. The slider drawer opens with plenty of force even with the weight of my pistol and the 2 extra magazines. Mounting the safe is easy with the provided bracket. So far, I am impressed for the price. The thing I think could be improved upon is the thickness of the steel case. I believe it should be thicker. I worry that it might be too easy to force open with a screwdriver or similar tool. Hopefully the electronics on this safe continue to be reliable. Many of the entry level biometric sensors work great at first and then stop working after the first year or so. Hopefully I will get many years of use out of my Langger slider safe.

Works as advertised and appears to be quality built with a nice hammered finish. Mounting was a breeze. The only issue I had was getting it to take my thumbprint but that was mostly user error. The unit is supposed to beep and turn green, according to the instructions, after reading your fingerprint. The unit did not beep but it did turn green. The problem I had was that it turned green so quickly, I was not removing my thumb fast enough and relocating it for a second or third scan. Once that was figured out, it worked perfectly. It opens effortlessly with my thumbprint or with my four-digit code. I think that the instructions could use some refinement which might make the process easier. Even so, I still give it five stars and would would definitely recommend this safe.

This safe is easy to program with digital code but one must follow the directions to scan the fingerprints , do it quickly. After two tries I figured out that I was waiting too long between scans. I scanned three different finger prints for myself and two for my wife. I think you can scan up to 10 difference fingers. The safe is sturdy , made of metal and has a beep mode OR silent mode for the code entry. The storage Compartment is able to take a full sized pistol like a 92FS or a medium size pistol like a Beretta PX4 Compact. The compartment also holds a separate mag. The securing of the safe bracket was easy, I attached it to a side of a nightstand next to my bed. One can also choose to attached it to the underside of a desk which makes it pretty hidden. I locks and unlocks easily regardless if using the code or the finger scan. The sliding out of the storage compartment is rather quiet but not silent. I recommend this product.

Solidly built. Smooth action on the slide-out drawer. Fingerprint scanner works fine. There was some confusion in the manual's instructions on how to change the passcode ... finally discovered you need to slide your finger *inside* the case (literally underneath the #3 key) and press it there instead of on the exterior button. Once past that roadblock, changing the code proceeded without incident. While the safe is designed for a semi-automatic, my Ruger LCR 38+P revolver fits fine without modifying the interior. It's a snug fit so a larger revolver such as a .45 might require slicing out some of the padding. Bottom line: safe storage, swift retrieval of the weapon. P.S. One other point about installation: the four wood screws provided for the mounting plate are relatively small, and as I intended to install this on the sideboard of a bed, it occurred to me that with the safe's heavy weight, the small wood screws would probably eventually disintegrate and pull out of the manufactured wood. So I drilled completely through the sideboard and used four 1.25" machine screws held with locking nuts and washers on both sides. The photos show the result. I also folded an index card in half and taped it over the slightly protruding ends of the locking nuts to avoid snagging and tearing bed sheets.

NOT CANADIAN STORAGE COMPLIANT Seems like a good safe. But it doesn't allow the space for a trigger lock which is required for Canadian storage. Probably great if you are American or other but in Canada this is 4 years in jail.

Solid! Comes with a three-way access: key, code, fingerprint. Box is heavy and thick. Full size gun fits comfortably. The metal has a pleasant, probably scratch-resistant texture. No complaints whatsoever. My worry on Amazon usually is: does the description / photo match the product? In this case, it does. I would recommend it to my friends, it's a good buy, and at a very good price. Fingerprint could be somewhat tricky (you have to place the finger exactly how you registered it), but you have the option to scan multiple sides of the finger, making sure it's quick and easy for every angle.
