Teeth are sharp so be careful, I used two, but probably could have use the first one to finish the job. Heavy plastic Once in the drain you do need to move it around but it grabbed the hair clog really well easy to pull out of drain. Well worth the price, I have 4 left if I needed more I would definitely purchase them again.

I've had no issues with snapping or breakage, though I have found the teeth can be caught and it does require some caution to remove them. I like that there's a small loop I can hold onto when pulling the clog remover back out. These are also easy to clean and re-use. The main reason I'm giving this a 4-star instead of a 5-star is simply because it didn't fully work. It loosened up my clog and identified the problem, however, I ultimately had to take an additional step in order to resolve the clog. However, it was a bit unique in that my trap was majorly clogged. Thus, I'd call this a great first option for drain clogs and a very affordable way of trying something simple before having to try more significant methods or even calling a plumber. It works well, it's affordable, and it's effective for simpler clogs.

Depending on your drainpipe style, these may or may not work. For me, they were problematic. I will explain why with as much detail so you can figure out if this might not work for you either. 1. The barbs are sharp enough to rip the latex gloves I use while cleaning. You must wear thicker gloves if you are going to use this and like to wear gloves. 2. The barbs snagged on parts of the plumbing making it extremely difficult to pull it back out. My tub's metal bits in the drain have a lip on the edges, which means the barbs catch while being pulled out. It snagged so badly that I had to pull very hard so as to RIP off each barb tip. There was no other way to get it out. I'm just glad I was able to get it out at all. 3. It didn't remove more clogged material than the worn out one I was trying to replace. It removed less. It worked a bit better in the bathroom sink, but still not any better than the other style. I'm glad I kept the old one (the kind with a velcro like tip). I'm 100% sure these are great for some people and that is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. It's just that they won't work for everyone. I'm putting the ones I didn't use into the Free Box and hopefully someone will get some use out of them.

I just used this 25 inch snake drain clog remover today and I will say that it worked perfectly! It pulled out gunk that was stuck in my bathroom sink drain and after using it, the water flowed through the drain just fine again. I like that it is plastic and I can throw it away and have others to use in this kit. It was sturdy enough to pull out the unwanted clogs. It was very easy to use. Plus this seller packed the 6 drainer tools perfectly in it's box.
