What are the dimensions of the pieces that attach to the door/wall? I have a piece of trim to work with that is only 3/4" wide.

I have about 3/4 of an inch to work with also. These did not work for me. The mounting brackets are an inch in width. I am curious if you have found another brand that has a narrower mounting bracket?

I plan to install the inactive member to the door stop and the active member to the edge of the door. Will it work like I’ve described?
