I’ve been using edge control for a while now, and it’s honestly one of those small products that makes a big difference in how polished your hair looks. If you use the right amount, it blends in naturally instead of looking heavy or stiff. Hold strength can vary a lot depending on the brand. The strong ones are great, but they can sometimes flake if you apply too much or don’t brush it in properly. The downside is buildup. If you use edge control too often without washing your hair regularly, it can leave residue along the hairline. Love this. clean feeling, great smell, good hold and mostly not greasy. More than fair price. Hair is short, textured pixie. My haircutter had it in her shop and it was the first time I used it. When I came home I immediately ordered it from Amazon. I have tried so many products and spent so much money through the years searching for something like this that I could open a store. This is the BEST I have ever used. Also the next day my hair is almost still in place and requires very little care. Its amazing. AND it is NOT sticky or gluey or gummy. Wears clean. I am very impressed with the Gummy Professional Hair Styling Wax! It provides a strong hold while keeping my hairstyle neat, smooth, and in place all day. It is perfect for creating sleek looks, controlling flyaways, styling edges, and achieving a polished finish.

This is my go to edge control. It smells really good and it is not heavy. I recommend washing your edges before using it over and over to prevent build up. I think it is good for the girlies with 4 type hair just make sure you are using a silk scarf to lay it down for a few mins. Also be aware that it works best when it’s not so hot out side and if even it sweats out a little bit it will still look nice. It does hold really well especially when it’s cold. I’m currently using the blue one , it’s good but I think I’m going to switch back to my red one!

Best edge control, hands down period! Doesn’t flake or break me out around my hairline. I have 4b/4c and this lays my edges perfect every time. A little goes a long way. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

As someone with 4B hair who likes trying different styles, this works pretty well for holding hair in place. It has a strong hold, but be careful because it can turn white if you layer other products on top of it. I’m also not a big fan of how it leaves my hair feeling hard and helmet-like,(ik some of y’all like that look and feel tho) which is why I’d only recommend it for styles you want to keep in for a week or two with little to no flyaways. I personally wouldn’t recommend using this for braids — maybe just edges or a small amount on braids. For some reason, it slightly irritates my scalp and causes a burning feeling. I thought it was just me at first, but every time I use it and then wash it out, the irritation goes away. Other people in my household have said the same thing happened to them and mind you none of us have sensitive skin issues…but anyway If you’re using this to lay your edges, definitely make sure to wash it out every few days if you’re gonna keep redoing them.

works great! Slickbacks are very tea. it doesn’t work on my edges but that’s fine. It is a little greasy but it does moisture my hair and smells great. worth the money
