How much cream do I need to use?

Apply a small amount of the cream frequently for effective dry, itchy skin relief. We have found that you will notice a difference after 5 days of continuous use. Consistently apply to specific irritated or damaged skin areas for best results.

Is the cream scented?

We do not add any scents or perfumes to Basix Skin Defence Cream. You might notice a wonderful smell of lemon, ginger or rose and this is due to the essential oils of these ingredients.

Why are there so many ingredients?

Basix Skin Defence Cream features Kigelia Africana, Plum, Lemon, Ginger, Aloe, Rose, Rosemary, Rosehip and Vitamin E. It also contains 7 moisturizing oils, including Olive, Grapeseed, and Shea Butter, each chosen for its skin conditioning benefits.

What is the African Sausage Tree?

Kigelia Africana, known as the fruit of the African Sausage Tree, has been used in traditional African medicine for centuries. Scientific research is exploring the potential health benefits of the extracts used in skin care such as our Basix Cream.
