No it is not. It is meant to be washed out with each shampooing. It is a very very fine powder that clings to your own hair strands and settle onto your scalp to make hair seem less thin. After styling my hair I spray lightly with hairspray then dust the top of my hair with it. I find this works best for me.

What colors are available?

I got the gray and it works well with my gray/white hair.

How do you use this with the spray applicator?

You would take the lid off the canister and screw it into the spray applicator.

Is it a colored powder or does it have a literal texture to it?

It is a colored powder. It comes with a shaker top but you can also purchase an atomizer. It looks like a rubber ball with a long tube attached to it. You squeeze down on the rubber ball and it puffs through the tube. I personally think you use less if you purchase that extra piece. And then once you have that you can use it on future containers. Help with hair

I love this product! I have a small spot of thinning hair in the part at the front of my head! After drying my hair, I just sprinkle a small amount in the spot and rub it in. It does the trick of covering up the spot!!! As I am a brunette, I chose the medium brown color. It only takes a second and works like a charm!!! I would most definitely buy this again!!!

It's Amazing!

WOW! Amazing! I sleep on my back so have "part" in my hair that no matter what I do I can't cover. Teasing the heck out of it isn't working either. I saw this on a video of Georgia's Hair Solutions and immediately ordered it thru Amazon. And OMGosh! First time using it and it is awesome! I only wash my hair every 2-3 days and it has stayed on AND it does not rub off on my pillow case. Highly Recommend! The only negative is Amazon offers the 15g size and the applicator (sold seperately) does not fit. So just shake it on and you're good to go.
