Works with a Kohler San Rafael elongated one-piece toilet
Finally, an attachable bidet that works with a Kohler San Rafael (K3397EB) elongated toilet. This one-piece toilet, which has a French curve behind the seat area, is tricky with bidet attachments as there is less room than on a two-piece toilet and it also is closer to the floor, making it more difficult to work on. I think later models of this Kohler elongated toilet are higher and easier to work on. This bidet installed well but with a tight area behind the toilet to the water source at the wall it meant using a different adapter than the one supplied. What I like about this is that it appears to be chrome over brass, a long-lasting bidet, I hope. The sprayer does tuck under the toilet rim. I did have a plumber install this bidet due to the fact that this toilet is very difficult to work on with bidet installations. Toilet model numbers are usually found stamped on the inside of the toilet reservoir. 1/7/18: This is the best bidet we have had yet. It's been a month since it was installed and we like everything about it. The water volume is easily adjustable and the arm swings well. Seems to be of excellent quality, unlike some others. Should last a good, long time. I really do prefer this to a free-standing bidet. Also, this one does not sit directly on the porcelain which can cause the china to be permanently etched, as we learned the hard way. This is an excellent product!

Great bidet!
My parents have had these for over a decade, and I just installed my first. My plumbing experience is next to nil and I had little trouble. I would recommend four things that will make your life easier during installation and troubleshooting. 1. Watch the Bidet King video on YouTube. It was really helpful. 2. Plastic wrap the whole toilet seat before troubleshooting. The pressure setting is sensitive, and you are very likely to soak yourself or the ceiling. It is also nice to be able to run it at full pressure to see if there are any points on the housing that need to be tightened down. 3. Your own plumberโs tape. The included plumberโs tape just kept rolling in on itself and I quickly ran out. 4. 5/8 & 11/16 crescent wrenches for tightening the hoses and other fittings. As for the cleaning ability, I was impressed by the amount of pressure even though our house is older and has lower pressure. Getting clean should not be a problem. If you have fairly high water pressure, beware when you are first using it. You may clean way more than you intended. Seriously, with higher water pressure constipation is not an issue. It is possible to get replacement parts. This makes this unit a good choice for long term use.

One great bidet
This is a great quality product. Made very well. The savings in toilet paper pays for the bidet. The multi hole head is so much better then just a single hole. Cleans great and gentle.

NOT For One-piece French-curve Toilets!! And Poor Troubleshooting Points
Definitely NOT compatible with Kohler one-piece frendch-curve toilets! I should have more carefully read the 1-star reviews for this. Because of my bad back, I had my plumber attempt to install this unit. Initially he thought he had it OK until he turned it on the the T-valve leaked at the tank connection. Nothing he tried fixed that and he had to buy a different T-connector. That did eliminate the leak, but many more problems came afterwards. NOTE: After it was installed I complained to Go-Bidet about the leaky T-valve (which I have since seen that many people had trouble with). The reply from Go-Bidet was to send me a link ( which I'm not allowed to post here -- Google" GOBidet T-Valve Tightening" ) explaining HOW TO DISASSEMBLE AND ADJUST THE VALVE!! There is NO mention of that solution nor any link to the video in the troubleshooting section of the installation instructions but it is apparent that is not only a known but a common problem ---which they fail to mention in their product description or even in their instructions!! I believe that is just deceptive on their part.) But that was just the beginning of problems. When I tried sitting on the toilet seat, the supply arm to the bidet was pressed closed and would not move so I had to buy seat bumpers to raise the seat up and relieve that pressure (and bumpers don't work well unless the bottom of the seat is flat -- they fall off!!) THAT also meant I had to remove the toilet seat and then buy longer seat bolts and spacers before the toilet seat could be reinstalled. After all of that, on a Kohler one-piece, the spray will not go to the proper position but instead only swings barely to the middle of the bowl! Additionally, the whole assembly would not stay in place but slid around when trying to use the bidet. I am sure that, on the proper configuration of toilet, the bidet may be very satisfactory. It does seem to be well-made and of quality materials. But the product description should clearly say to won't fit and one-piece toilet with a french-curve tank! AND the troubleshooting should at least direct buyers to the uTube video on fixing the leaky T-valve. (I don't know why it only leaks for some people and not others but there should be a warning about it!) $200 in plumbing bills later, I am returning the Go-Bidet for a refund, which the company said would be my only option. They won't reimburse any expenses for failed installations.

but so far I'm in love. In terms of looks and operation this is ...
I've only had this for two weeks, but so far I'm in love. In terms of looks and operation this is five stars all the way, but one star off because the instructions are pretty terrible and because it could be greatly improved with a reducer or in-line flow valve. With regards to the instructions, they are fine for a plumber but not your average end-user installer. I found a few install videos on youtube and was able to manage. With regards to a reducer, the amount of water pressure needed to clean your undercarriage is obviously much lower than what's needed to fill a toilet tank. This bidet DOES have a very nice variable on-off that allows you to control flow, but the problem is that at maximum open it could sandblast skin off. An upstream reducer could prevent, essentially, accidents, such as from guests trying it for the first time. I mainly went with this bidet for its looks, and the product pics on this page simply don't do it justice. It looks like a sexy robot cricket android that's in love with the rim of my toilet bowl. It really looks classy and stylish. There are far cheaper plastic alternatives but many of them look... geriatric. Like something you'd expect to find on grandma's toilet and will accumulate "what's that?" stains over time. I really can't understate how good this bidet looks. It's functional art. Overall, very happy with this purchase but think the manufacturer is doing themselves a disservice with such weak instructions and few low-cost additions that could improve the overall package.

GoBidet is basic but does the job extremely well!
Ok, so I don't usually write reviews but in this case I think it is worthwhile. Let me give a little background first please. The first time I ever had the opportunity to use a bidet was in Hawaii about 8 months ago. Apparently there are so many tourists from Japan and other Far East countries that use bidets that hotels and resorts have installed them in their bathrooms. It was a new experience but it made me realize that a bidet could be very useful. I don't know that I would have ever seriously considered buying one because of the price. So many of the bidets I found on the web were $500 and up. Of course the reason they are that expensive is because they would have heated water, blowers for drying and remote controls for those things. And then you have to have electrical power which could cost $300 to add to a bathroom stall. And then you might need a plumber to install the thing. So, I was looking at a $1000 or more for a bidet. I really liked the things, but I don't think so. Recently, it was determined that I needed major back surgery. My doctor said recovery could take awhile, I would not even be allowed to drive for 6 weeks. Preparing for the weeks of recovery and knowing how painful and debilitating surgery can be, made me think of how I would be able to perform daily functions. After running across the GoBidet and reading a lot of good reviews, I took the plunge and bought one to help out through surgery. It is the best $90 I ever spent. It may not blow dry, have heated water or a remote control, but it seriously does the job. If you are wondering about water power, rest at ease. My brother, who was installing it, left the valve wide open when we turned the water back on. It shot straight up and hit the 10 foot ceiling. Some people have said it corrodes easily. I bought the chrome one a month ago and it still looks new. It is very easy to use, just reach down with your right hand and pull a small lever that moves the arm from the edge of the bowl to the center. Then gently pull another small lever that starts the water to whatever pressure you want, from a trickle to a pretty strong jet. Don't get me wrong, I would like to have the blower and warm water. Only you can decide if that is worth a $1000. If this ever breaks, I will buy another one in a heartbeat!!

A Quality Product
I bought a GoBidet 2 1/2 years ago thinking it would be of help dealing with the effects of radiation burns from rectal cancer. It has been a godsend! I have used it every day since installation. This is a quality product. The installation was easy, although I did have to buy a new toilet seat (from the local big-box store) so the adjustable arm could move freely between the top of the bowl and the seat. The GoBidet has had no leaks, no repairs, has worked perfectly, still looks and operates as it did at the time of installation. The chrome finish is of a high quality, has no pitting or discoloration, easy to clean and has stood up to typical commercial bowl cleaners. An excellent product, well worth the cost. (And, the money I have saved not buying toilet paper has more than covered the purchase price of the GoBidet and the new toilet seat.) It is rare to find an item in today's marketplace that actually lives up to--exceeds in this case--the claims of the manufacturer. Thank you!

In some ways, the best bidet on the market
I think most people will find this device cumbersome, a bidet attachment that you have to manually operate to get in the right position and to retract when done. That said, I have used top-of-the-line Japanese bidet toilets and other, low-end devices and this one distinguishes itself by having the strongest (if desired) and most precise spray with corresponding cleaning power. It is my preferred system for this reason, I just bought my second. I've had the first for several years with no problems whatsoever.
