I have little in-depth knowledge of a switch, other than knowing I need one in my home as the number of wired devices is greater than the number of ports offered by my ISP router. So far it's been a few months and has truly been a plug and play affair. Fitted and forgotten - it has not caused any issues. Unit feels robust and satisfyingly weighty - not at all like a plasticy box of air that some stuff like this can feel like. Speeds seem unhindered when testing whatever I have plugged in.

Wow just works out of the box never got so excited over a switch/router, when I plugged in my Voice over internet phone into the POE and it started to boot up without any problems I was shocked. The price is also amazing for a quality brand. Deliberately went for an unmanaged model and I am glad I did.

I thought this was tremendous value for something that has the professional-grade cachet of a brand like Cisco. Absolutely no problems at all with it after several years.

I bought this 8 port switch to replace 2 smaller switches and rationalise the number of power supplies needed. So far it's performed exactly as it should and handles domestic network traffic with ease. It requires no setup, it just works.

Plug and play! Working perfect from day one. No dropouts. Set it and forget it.

bought it on 1 Jul 2021. initially worked fine, after a while started just disconnecting network for no apparent reason. lights on, everything looked fine, but no network. worked again after restart. lived with this for another year an a half, occasionally restarting every now and then, when it stopped providing network connection. this morning woke up and found it in vegetative state once again, with lights blinking, but no network. just this time the device won't make connection after many attempts, which bought it one way ticket to the bin.

Money talks!! A quality finished in metal performance are great. Compare with other brands is miles away.
