Does this product adds decent volume and hold?

It does add volume but is not as effective for hold. You apply this product prior to blow drying to increase volume, but I usually use a hair spray for hold.

What is the difference between aveda volumizing tonic and aveda thickening tonic?

Volumizing tonic is a clear liquid. Very light, leaves no stickiness but light to med body. Thickening tonic made my hair feel a bit sticky and dull. I have fine hair and I LOVE the VT.

What is the difference between the thickening tonic and the volumizing tonic?
