Can this be used to bring up matted spots in the rug from a bureau? Thank you

It depends on how bad they are. My dining room table sat n a fixed spot for 6 yrs. It did a credible job bringing those fingers up. Perfect? No, but livable. To get best results it takes many rakings. I raked my carpet when I was shampooing it 2 or 3 Xs. I might have been more successful had I tried again. But it takes a lot of rakings to get the drivers so don't give up too quickly if u purchase it.

Looking for a tool to pull human hair from very flat gym mats. They are just fuzzy enough to trap hair so the vacuum won't pull it up. Will this work?

I believe that it will. It has pulled hair and debris from pretty thick carpet pile. You probably would need a way to hold the mat in place while you use it though.

Does this work on long human hair, my hair be falling out on carpet

It also revives the carpet pile to look like new. It will pull pet hair out of the carpet and should be fine for human hair. Once out, then vacuum.

released compacted old shag carpet

We are going to renovate and remove this old carpet eventually but until then I didn't know what to do. The shag carpet of old has become a compacted, dirty mess. I truly do not know how old the carpet is. I received the carpet rake today. I put it together and tried it right away. It's working! It's fluffing up the compacted parts of carpet where we walk the most and helping to pull up old debris and pet hair. My vacuum is going to hate me but this is great! With a little elbow grease (I rake the carpet hard) it should lift the rest of the compacted areas as well. None of the bristle tips on the rake broke during my rough raking. When I'm done raking and vacuuming I can then use a carpet cleaner. This rake will come in handy for keeping the shag rug usable and less disgusting until renovation.

Makes your carpet look brand new

I recently discovered this product when I was trying to work out a way to bring our living room carpet back to new after cleaning it. You do need to put in some physical effort but the results are brilliant and the carpet looks amazing and it feels even nicer to walk on. Loving this product.
