Soft Full Pocket Long Blade Fins for Freediving Speafishing | Gara Professional LD Made in Italy by Cressi: Quality Since 1946

Size: I wear a 10.5 US Men's. I first bought a smaller size (42/43) due to some recommendations on the reviews here, but it was way too small. I also need to wear 5mm booties due to cold local waters, and it was almost impossible to put on. I returned it for a bigger size (44/45) and it fits well with both bare feet and 5mm booties.Functionality: With 5mm booties my feet float while kicking on the surface, which puts a lot of stress on my feet and ankles. If I dont force my feet down when I kick, it will slap the surface, and my ankles get sore quick. When I am underwater, these fins work very well and propel me very fast both swimming around at the bottom and kicking back up. My feet do get sore after an hour wearing these with 5mm booties, but I think I just need to wear out the foot pocket some more with my feet size and shape. They are also harder to put on than my scuba open heel fins. I will most likely use these fins when boat diving or shore diving with little to no surf. I will keep my open heel cressi light weight scuba fins for rocky shore diving (with scuba boots) and big surf shore diving.

If you're an individual who loves the deep side of life, these fins get you into the deep depths as well. I bought these for a trip to Hawaii and wasn't disappointed. They fit right out of the box, but could be a little long for some My foot is wide, so they were perfect for me. Standard sized folks should buy a half size small for bare feet, or stay the traditional foot sizes with booties.My experience with scuba and snorkeling goes way back, so I found these to be great for snorkeling in +15ft of water. If you're planning on snorkeling in the generic sense (minimal depths and crowds) don't bother and choose the small fins. For those who traverse the crooks and crannies, while skirting the bottom, these are for you! I found the fins comfortable with the correct amount of flexibility. Graceful controlled scissors and boom you're there with minimal effort.I have used these in the olympic sized pools for exercise and love the workout! Great fins for burning the legs and lungs. For the price, I can't see why not. Safe trips....

Update: Seriously in love with these fins!! Why did I wait so long to switch. Just absolute ease of movement. I may never go back. Love Cressi!My first long fins. I am a US women’s 9-9.5 running shoe. I bought the smallest fins 40/41. I am like a missile underwater! Even on the surface they are easy for me to maneuver around even in very shallow water. I frequently find myself towing two tired kids while snorkeling, so these are going to be a huge help! I did wear dive socks, although I think it would be ok without. These things are almost as long as my leg!! I can’t wait to use them this summer!! Great price too!! Husband likes his. He had an old pair way stiffer that were falling apart. Awesome replacements!!

As a matter of fact, they are with a friend and I will be getting and using them in a couple of months. I had another one and they were excellent, I expect no other result.

Exactly what I expected when ordering cressi . Size is perfect I use a 12 and order a 12 and they fit perfect. Order came earlier than expected and I’m very happy with then cuality of the item and recomend it to anions looking for a good pair of flippers . The flexibility on them gives you the right motion to create the perfect speed without much effor which is exactly what you need. Just great

Arrived really quickly. Is super comfortable and easy to put on and take off with soft footpocket. Thin soft blades, polypropylene material and footpocket placement beneath the fin makes it super efficient; you get great propulsion without the feel of a heavy blade on your foot, you actually barely feel it at all so your leg muscles sont fatigue quickly at all, kicks or smooth and have almost no drag. All in all Great Buy.....Ps...from the surface, bend at the hips and thrust ur shoulders down, shoot ur legs up and kick just TWICE and You'd already be crossing 12 feet. Master proper equalization techniques and You'd be making 30 ft dives in no time

Only issue I have is that they don't make a smaller foot size, but I added a neoprene 5mm sock and they're more snug. Also, difficult to get these on in a hurry, ie. a whale shark is cruising by! But that is likely just due to size of the fin and the design, not this brand or particular product. Another great product from Cressi! Wonderful flexibility and increased speed dramatically. Just have to swim sideways if you are snorkeling, because the fins are so long and come out of the water which ruins your momemtum and creates quite the splash if you are trying to be stealth-like. Overall, excellent for duck-dives and free diving all around.
