Amazing stuff. We used this brand when I was cabin crew and I cannot sing its praises enough!! Brilliant for small burns, I’ve used larger pads soaked in the stuff from the same company too. Much better than running under a tap. You become comfortable and the pain goes. It will eventually soak in but reapply as necessary.

Used on a steam railway for instant burn relief. Basically the burn cooks skin, it hurts, apply lots of cold water, which you don't have on a steam engine, these do that job. Relief from the heat pain and can be used until medical help is accessed, which is not on a rail track; so very useful. Used the first pack up. I am an NHS professional. They work.

This isn't a product you can write a review until you have (the misfortune) to use it. Unfortunately my wife scalded her hand with boiling water. I applied the cream immediately and straight away my wife said that the stinging had stopped and that the burn was soothed right away. She said that the pain & stinging didn't return. The cream dried into the skin. There was no blistering or red marks the next day. It's recommended covering with a dressing but I didn't on this occasion. I would very highly recommend this burn lotion. Extra note: I had the misfortune to scald my fingers with a hot kettle. I applied the gel and dressed the burn, it hurt like hell. BUT, once I removed the dressing and left the gel open to the air it cooled straight away so I would still agree with my first statement. This gel is excellent and worth investing in for your First Aid Kit.
