Game Changer!
In case anyone is wondering if this works for flip turns without getting water in the snorkel. It does. It took about two laps to get it down and to be brave enough to try to exhale through my nose only and breathe through the snorkel with my mouth as I do when Iโm swimming the laps. When I first tried it I realized when I would do my flip turn I would exhale out of my mouth thinking Water would be entering the snorkel has done in the past without this particular kind of snorkel. Giving that big exhale to always blow water out. But I would also feel a little bit of a burn in my nose like some water came in. So as I was swimming I was thinking, am I going to have to get a nose plug so I can do this properly. Then I figured I might as well just try to exhale out of my nose and see if any water comes into my mouth. And I must say nothing came in. I continued with several laps just to make sure that it wasnโt just a weird Flipturn and still no water entered my snorkel. Which I was very happy that I didnโt come up choking on water. I would definitely recommend the snorkel to anyone that likes to do flip turns and also uses a snorkel it can be done together. I always would feel like when I would get to the wall to turn around it kind of took a little bit of my momentum away because I didnโt know how to do a flip turn with a snorkel on. This particular snorkel with the top part built-in allows for exactly that no water and I maintain my momentum. I definitely noticed today when I went swimming that I had that drive to push myself a little harder. I do swim at a 25 yard pool unfortunately nothing else in town is available. Only the university has a 50 m and currently it is not open to anyone except students and to become a member to swim otherwise itโs rather difficult due to parking on campus without a pass can be risky for tickets. But back to the snorkel, soft in the mouth soft on the forehead perhaps you may notice the weight when you first put it on if youโre swimming with the light weight snorkel. I do have a light weight one from Finns that weights a little less but I must say the length on this one for the mouth piece makes it more comfortable and the extra weight is very minimal once you start swimming youโll be so excited that you have this momentum that you will completely forget that itโs a couple of extra grams more. And you cannot beat the cost. I must say this is the first review Iโve ever written. I am a 51 to soon to be 52-year-old female that swims about three days a week permitting there is an open lane available I average about 3/4 to a mile within the 45 minutes allotted to the swimmers. That is typically about all I can get in There is also a slight resistance depending on which lane your swimming in because the other part of the pool has a river like canal action so Iโm not an expert just a 135 pound college athlete stuck in a current 220 pound body. Still have the athlete just a different body. But I must say I am at least down 45 pounds from some healthy eating and of course swimming with some great equipment.

Great design
The best snorkel Iโve ever used , no need to expel water , the seal saves your extra breath and water ingestion impossible

Works great! โฆ.just a couple warnings
This works as advertised. Itโs great not worrying about water coming into the tube. On the flip side, I ended up getting a nose clip to stop water going up my nose, and I canโt seem to wear it for very long, my saliva goes into it and pools at the bottom, clogging it. So I stop after 2-300 yards to dip it into the gutter and drain/clean it out. Not exactly a design flaw, just something to be mindful of. In general I love it!

Some good features. Some design flaws
Bought this to replace a Zionor version I misplaced. I've used it once so far (lap swimming). I swim with a snorkel for freestyle to minimize torque on my neck. It works fine. Pros: I really like the splash guard at the top for flip turns. I was astounded that NO water went down the tube. The Zionor didn't have this and I had to blow water out every time I emerged from a turn. I found the flexible part of the tube fine, but unnecessary. Cons: The forehead support is badly designed. As far as I can tell, it's made of a single piece of plastic and it has a circular curve to it. I don't know about you, but my forehead is NOT circular... As a result, it presses at a single point in the center, where it has no padding. I still have a small bruise on my forehead from my swim yesterday ๐ For comparison, the Zionor forehead support is made of two separate pads that can be adjusted for fit. Another small flaw is the water release valve location. It faces horizontally and is at the same height as the mouth piece. As a result, some water drops into my mouth when I stand up. The valve should be on the bottom so it drains more easily!

You breathe differently blow out your nose except when breathing in.
What I was expecting. The mouthpiece you hold in your teeth is only in the back which I think makes it more comfortable. I may find I'm sore later, but I didn't notice anything while swimming. Totally unable to see the snorkel while swimming or feel any drag which I was concerned about. I have been swimming for over 40 years and have never used a nose clip but I'm buying one now. It may be because I'm swimming in an endless pool, but I was gagging on the water in the back of my throat coming in my nose. I finally learned to blow out my nose periodically to get the water back out. It cleaned my sinuses out good ha ha. Update learned nose clip didn't work. May for some people but not me. I just learned to blow out my nose all the time except when taking a breath. The snorkel is fine, I need a longer breath with the snorkel than when I was turning my head to breathe, I'm sure the smaller diameter of the snorkel is the reason. I wish the snorkel tube was a little longer. When I relax my head it can tip the snorkel into the water and I get a little water in my mouth not enough to choke me but I have to keep my head higher than I like I think it's because I'm swimming with a wet suit on which is not recommended but is the only way I can tolerate swimming this winter has been so cold.

One of the best Swimming Snorkels
I use this for practice. It seldom gets better than this. It's light, flexible and easy to use. The top valve ensures 0 water leakage. I wish they had colours, although I would go for black unless I find Dark Grey or Sky Blue. The mouthpiece could be better in the next version.
