Q: If the app on my phone can do both bluetooth or ANT+ - which should i use to pair with this?

Ant+ require less power/battery, though, Bluetooth Low Energy (aka Bluetooth Smart or Bluetooth4.0) closes the gap. Apart from that, little separates the two in practical applications.

Q: How sweatproof is this? I sweat a lot and I was wondering if it would affect this product to where it will fry the battery.
