OEM Condenser Fan Motor, Fits Carrier, 1/10 hp, 1100 RPM, 208-230V Motor Replaces Part # 5KCP39BGS069S

Ordered on Wednesday, Delivered on Friday via USPS with x1 day shipping. Temperature has been in the 80’s, spring here and miserable because fan motor went out. HVAC unit was old, came with the house to the point the sticker had peeled off the motor. Fan wouldn’t spin when kicked on, wouldn’t spin if kick started. We decided to order a new one and do it ourselves to save money. We took a chance on this motor hoping if it didn’t work, we could send it back to the correct one. We replaced it today within 30 minutes, also replaced the condenser, and replaced it. Started right up and house began cooling. Ordering from this company was a breeze. It came packaged sturdily, and apparently I can’t read because I initially opened the bottom of the box and couldn’t figure out how to dislodge it. Thankfully the box was labeled “This side up”, oops. Got it opened and crossed our fingers it would work. Would definitely order again d/t how easily it was to order and how fast it arrived. I did pay $20 shipping fee, to speed up the shipping... mind you, this little motor is heavy. Can’t say much about returns, hoping it stays working correctly, however included in the package was a slip to stick to the motor to send it back. It included items to check off to show if you replaced anything else, condensation present and such. Basically a trouble shooting card so they could send what you actually need if it is the wrong one. A+ customer service so far!

My niece called and said there was something wrong with her central air so I stopped by and found the condenser would kick on but the fan was not spinning. The fan had so much resistance that it would not spin even when I tried to move it by hand. I cut the power off and it spun freely. Easy fix, replace motor. Capacitor was more than likely fine but decided to replace that as well. (Purchased here, worked out well) Unfortunately, all the stores local to me that actually had them did not sell to the public so I had to come here to Amazon. It was pretty hot when it went out so it sucks having to wait a few days but not the fault of Amazon. Anyway, I had to old motor and capacitor out and the new parts installed in less than an hour. They have been running for about a month now with no issues. Mounted exactly like the original and wires were actually a heavier gauge than what was in there previously.

I got this for my IPC NXA6 condenser unit because the last time the tech who inspected it said it was time to replace it and I agree since this unit is 12 years old. Horizon quoted me $1619 to replace this motor so I just decided to do it myself after watching some YouTube videos because it seemed very easy. I found this motor which had the same specs needed and the price was better than the original OEM motor. The motor is a 1:1 replacement but I do have to say there is a couple of small differences: 1) The shaft is probably 1/4" shorter which is not a big deal; 2) The cables come out of the housing right in the middle of the studs but in the original motor the cables come out about 1" from one of the studs. This is a very slight inconvenience because you now have to bend the raceway a little to make it work, but other than it's a perfect fit. It took me 2 hours from start to finish because I spend a lot of time cleaning the inside of the condenser unit as it had a lot of dirt, leaves, etc. I also replaced the Contactor and Capacitor as those probably needed replacement too. I'm very happy with this purchase and I hope this motor lasts a long time.

For an OEM replacement motor seem to be of good quality and all work great and price wasn't bad either.

Although safety precautions (disconnect from electric power source) need to be taken, this product is easy to install and better than buying from HVAC contractors. I have met with at least two, and each wanted to charge more than $1100 for parts and labor.

The description says it's manufactured by Regal Beloit/Genteq and the picture shows that but it's simply a Chinese motor from a Chinese motor company. I should have taken a picture of the label but I didn't. It may be a fine motor but the description is inaccurate. It did install just fine.
