would have given five stars for this product the one thing that lets it down is the where you have to put the jack in to get it started under the device took a while to work out you can fit it in place underneath but not brilliant. The machine itself is easy to use and compact and love the fact there is a lot of sounds for your money especailly if you are like me and love the sound of rain and the ocean - quite a few ocean type themes to choise from and love the fact this one has the train sound on it. Also another note becare it does not get wet just had to order another one as the one I had got wet and now does not work even after it dried out.

Fantastic. I have only just received it today so I yet to test out how effective it is for sleep. However, just going through the choice of sounds and how relaxing they are I know it will definitely help me, especially as I have relied on a fan the past year which isn't ideal. Looking forward to using this.

This item worked fine for a few months and then broke. I've had several of these in the past and never has one broken this easily. Should have spent more on a better model.

This creates a loud background noise which drowns out noise from elsewhere; you get used to this white noise and 'tune it out' along with any other noise it is masking. This phenomena is very effective against consistent noises, unusual noises like doorbells/smoke alarms etc still blast through This requires a USB power supply, so you are going to need a USB socket or an adaptor. It does not have batteries, so when it is unplugged it will not work. It is a 5 volt supply at 1.5 amps max (so 7.5 watts). When switched off but plugged in, it will consume zero electricity - when actually working it will consume a Kw (a unit) of electricity in about 133 hours It can lay flat with the speaker pointing up or stand up with the speaker pointing forward. The power cable lays flat in a recessed well underneath. Push button controls, just keep pushing until you find a volume and sound that drowns out the neighbour's noise - it is not really a matter of liking the noise, you will be ignoring it soon enough. The selected timer option is shown by a small led revealing 1, 2 or 3 hour operation or a continuous mode. After the time has expired, the unit gradually reduces it volume to avoid an abrupt change waking you

Love this little noise machine. The sounds are clear and free of loops. I bought it because I am a light sleeper and every little thing usually wakes me up -- I sleep much better now. The noise machine remembers your sound choice and will go right to it next time you press the power button. You can leave the sound on continuously or choose between 1, 2 or 3 hours. When you choose 1,2 or 3 hours there is a small white light that indicates your choice but with continuous there is no light. The only thing I do not like about this product is that there is a tiny blue light to indicate that the power is on. Granted, the light is very small but I prefer to sleep in complete darkness. This is nothing that can't be remedied with a small piece of black tape. In my opinion it is more for adults then kids due to the sounds on it. I would definitly recommended the Magic Team white-Noise Maker - Model MWN-B1.

I cannot believe I forgot to review this product! I use this sound machine every night (except during summer when we have a window air conditioner making noise). I use the static or fan sound but there's lots of sounds to choose from. The sound quality is good not fantastic, but I use this just for the white noise effect. It works perfectly for that. I can't sleep when it's too quiet. Another great feature of this little device is you can choose how long you want it to run.

One of the best, dont need to use my phone anymore. Just sorry i never got it with my first 2 babys.
