Good product worth buying for DIY projects

Good saw for DIY use. Both, the rip fence and the miter gauge have a little play. Also the scale accuracy is just ok. Good enough for rough work. For fine work, these shortcomings can easily be overcome by making manual measurements.The user manual is ok as far as working instructions are concerned, but has no information on some critical adjustments like adjusting the blade parallel to the miter slots. Maybe these are not required as I have not yet faced a problem.All basic accessories, their storage features, table extension, transport wheels etc are excellent "additions".Finally the cut is true and smooth.Definitely recommended.

Good product, heavy duty, and sturdy , about 30 kg , received on time , tested and found ok.

After sales support is pathetic. Service center attitude is very rude. If there is problem with delivered product then you have to carry it and chase the service center guys at your cost.I had purchased this table saw one month back but could not replace the original blade as its screw was too tight. I feared that using too much force on the screw may damage the whole assembly. So, I contacted service center to get support. The service center executed asked me to contact local service dealer and shared his number. The dealer asked me to bring the machine to their shop. I requested them to send someone to my place as apparently the service center in Bangalore is at city outskirts and carrying the 30Kg machine would be a big task. However, he denied and asked me to go back to customer care.After going too and fro between local dealer and customer care, I was told that they don't provide any onsite support and could not help. They told me to convince local dealer if he can arrange some engineer to come to your place.They told me that they do not promise any onsite support. So even if the product is just one month old, then also they can't provide onsite support. Their response is like, its customer's responsibility to get product fixed.I attached the snapshot where it is clear from marks on nut that I tried to open the nut a lot.I regret going with this company and shall never buy from any product from STANLEY.My suggestion is buy bigger machine tools from local vendors who are approachable and can assure help after sales service. These people can guide better which brand has better service options.My request to Amazon, please mention that this product do not provide any onsite support. The way the description of this product has been put is very misleading. Customer feels cheated when he comes to know of the ground reality later. The trust on Amazon is also impacted when customer faces issues on new products.

Good tool for wood work. Only issue is measurement only in metric.

The table saw is good for this price. However, I received a used product without spanners, user manual booklet, few bolts and nuts. Also, the cutting blade had few damages. I had to replace the blade with Bosch blade. Loss of 1500rs. In an open space, the Noise level is around 96dB-A, when measured at 1meter distance, which is around 6dB-A higher than Bosch GTS-254. Should use an earmuff while operating it. I need to cross-check with another table saw of the same model to confirm whether i received a faulty product or it is similar for all products in this model. I reduced one star for damaged blades and missing booklets, bolts, spanners.1. Clean and neat cut when the blade is set vertical (0 degree)2. Bevel setting is inaccurate. Need to calibrate and cut a sample to confirm the quality of cut3. Miter gauge is inaccurate, sloppy and useless. You can just use it for cross cut support. The angles embossed on the gauge is not at all visible. I had to paint them to increase the contrast. You may refer the pics4. Adjustable fence is useless. You need to measure the setting from the blade’s front and back everytime.5. The scale provided on the table top is inaccurate. But you can re calibrate them. Still it is not reliable.6. At the same time, one cannot expect the performance of a 60k table saw in a 30k table saw. Considering the price, this product is definitely worth buying

I like this tool. I use it rarely but I find it really helpful at times.Note: I am writing this review according to my usage. I use it only for diy. I am a robotics enthusiast and I use it in a very limited way.

Sparingly been using 4months!!It's about time now for a genuine review for the benifit of all possibly...First and foremost my respect and appreciation continues to Stanley B&D for it's capacity building approach, consistently been enhancing skill by providing us with good value for money powertools and accessories, not forgetting the Cloudtail India/Amazon initiatives as well.This table saw is good because of the simple and dynamic approach having multiple DIY adaptability...It actually is not a highly precession machine yet its negligible and not to worry much, provided with such price would rather be said precise and appreciated. It works well with wood/particle B/plyB/mdf/pvc. I've already added 5 diy jigs and all functions precisely, some even better than the stock mitre gauge.However, there is one major issue in this product and requesting for a possible urgent rectification from the manufacturer, the problem is with the blade adjustment D.wheel and gear system that are made of cheap plastic materials which is not smooth enough and user friendly from the very beginning. The dynamics of the plastic drive wheel and gears are rather questionable and unreliable for the left an pulls. Truth bites as mine already damaged and unusable and now adjusting the blade with socket wrench from below definitely not a healthy comfortable approach to work with...Having those issues in mind, Iam very worried for other users as well...Better know what you are buying!!Provided the issue is solved!?!, it definitely is a great 5*****product until then 3*** in all honesty is what it is...Hope my review is helpful for everyoneThank you###Cloudtail India!!!Requesting to kindly provide us with good quality Gear replacement parts including the drive wheel...Thanks in anticipation
