Received defected product
I received defected piece which is not working and most difficult part is earthing plug point which is smaller than other 2 points making it difficult to plug in.

The product was to be used for a hair dryer that we got from the USA. It was a premium quality hair dryer. The product brochure for the 220-110 converter should be used for products like hair dryers, irons etc only and not for printers, computers etc. Well, hooked up the hair dryer to it and switched on. Some high pitched sound from the converter, and within a minute of hooking it up, the hair dryer emitted smoke and died. It was a working product in USA. Have thrown away the converter. Worst product ever purchased on Amazon.

defective product no quality checks
This is the only seller who sells this pluggable stepdown converter on Amazon. The item I received is defective, and it burned down my 120W heating pad. I ordered a 2500W capable converter. I will not recommend this seller and its items to anyone. Amazon should take down such seller, who sells defective products.

Caused major problems!! DO NOT BUY!!
So, I got this product and was excited to use it, the rated power of this converter is 2500w, I was using my automated soup maker of rating 1500w that I had got from U.S., thereby this converter was essential in the process of using it, it was working fine in the beginning, then out of nowhere this stops working properly and gave the output of 220v instead of 110v(I know this now, because I measured it myself), and because of this my device literally got rendered unusable, I believe in parts like these, durability matters the most! This advice is for anyone like me out there, as I wish someone had told me this before!!
