Klappt bestens
Hallo, ich habe in einem SuSE 11.3 DELL Optiplex 745 dieses Interface in dem einen (einzigen) PCIe Slot stecken und betreibe damit ein HP LTO5 Streamerlaufwerk. Nach laden des dyn modules sas kann ich mit Yosemite Backup bzw Arkeia dieses LTO 5 Laufwerk problemlos ansprechen. Es funktioniert hervorragend! Kann ich echt weiter empfehlen.

Perfect for Unraid
I have a Silverstone RM21-308 set up as a JBOD that is attached to this card sitting in an unraid server. Everything was plug and play. The 8087 to 8088 cable connected the JBOD backplane to the card and unraid detected all the drives and I added them to my share. This was my first time doing this and it worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

普通に高速なSAS / eSATA I/Fカード
LTO用にSASが必要になり購入しました。米国からの輸入品で安く予定日より10日遅れて届きましたが、中身はIBMへのOEM品で問題なく稼働しています。LTOにminiSAS接続して、eSATA 4系統にも接続します。 LSIロジックがアバゴテクノロジーズに買収された後、アバゴが買収したブロードコム（BROADCOM）にブランドが移ってるので、製品のドライバやドキュメントは以下のブロードコムのサイトにありますが、Windows10ではドライバインストールの必要はありませんでした。HPやDELLやIBMなどのサーバ向けにOEM供給している製品なので、やはりSASでは旧LSIロジックの定番商品のようです。 https://jp.broadcom.com/products/storage/host-bus-adapters/sas-9207-8e 外部miniSAS ラッチつきSFF-8088規格のコネクターが2つ出ており、eSATAへのファンアウトケーブルを別途購入すれば1ポートあたり4つのeSATAも使えます。この製品は外部miniSASなので、内部SAS用のSFF-8087ではないので注意が必要です。 miniSASとeSATAのコンボI/Fとして１つのPCIExpress x8 Gen3で済み、速くて拡張性が高く、ロープロファイルにも対応しており、ストレージの拡張を考える時には今後とも検討する価値があると思います。 x1のeSATAカードは安いですが、2台を超えるHDDを外付けするかSASも必要になる場合ではお勧めします。このカード自体にはRAID機能はないので、外付けSAS RAIDボックスに対してSAS接続するか、eSATAでRADIボックスへポートマルチプライヤー接続でJBODバックアップ用途という感じになると思います。eSATAでHDDやSSDに対して普通に内蔵SATAと変わらない速度が出ています。 日本国内ではほぼ流通していないので、調達には1カ月程度の余裕を見込んだ方がいいでしょう。写真は別途購入したminiSAS--eSATAx4 ファンアウトケーブルです。 -8e（外部8ポート）を購入しましたが、-8i（内部8ポート）や-4i4e（内部4ポート外部4ポート）も製品があります。

It Works!!!
I have a less than perfect record with PCI cards not only working, but working as they are supposed to work. But this one is a rare win. Installation was easy--it showed in Device Manager right after bootup. The big surprise came when I connected a drive and transferred a file--at full SATA speeds...….not USB speeds.....SATA speed.
