Fit perfectly on our IKEA train set. The noises are fun and it will pull an impressive amount of cars up the hill. Batteries last for a good amount of time; be warned though it will continue to run if it falls over and that will drain the batteries quickly.Great toy, easy to use, and has made our two year old a train conductor.

My 2 year old grandson loved opening this on Christmas Eve. He played with if for over and hour. Taking out the people and putting them back in. The whistle is fun and not too loud. It ran great on their plush carpet so I am sure it will do well on their track.It is sturdy and well made.The battery was a bit hard to put in.

My little one love this train! The speed is just right - not too fast that would become unstable and not to slow that would become boring. It fits our wooden train rail perfectly. I wish it could bear a bit more loading, with ~2, 3 more cabins attached, it would stop when going up on the bridge, but it kind of enforces more engagement for the kid to push and maneuver around, not a bad thing to some extent.

This would be 5 stars if the screw for the battery compartment was a regular screw. It’s some weird size and they send a screwdriver that barely works. But once I got the batteries in… we love this train! It works great on the wooden train tracks we have which are a Melissa and Doug set and a bunch of other miscellaneous wooden track sets. It pulls our other magnetic cars well, it stays on the track well too! The noises are cool and not too loud and I love that it makes some train noises when you first turn it on and then stops, so when it is going around and around our Christmas tree it’s not making a bunch of noise. Both my four year old and one year old enjoy the train.

The media could not be loaded. My kids absolutely loved this train. It is battery operated and it has only 2 options - forward and backward. It goes slow and steady. The train works with our existing wooden tracks. It just needs a little bit of tweaking to get it right. If you make too many curves it falls off the tracks. We made it go around the fire station and it worked great. It can also go up and down small slopes, and also carry more wagons. Their simple train track became a cool motorized train.

Nice, quality addition to a wooden train set. It has a short audio sound at start up and shut down. Batteries seems to last for a while, move slowly and fits all wooden rails. The product Picture are of 2 sets but there is one set of an engine and one carriage.

The train looks good but the screws are have little triangles on them and require a special tool. We have lots of tools but nothing will work. Other reviewers mentioned receiving a tool but ours didn’t come with one and now we’ve got no way to use the train. Definitely not worth buying a new, random tool just for this!
