Nice lamp harps, but not brass.
These lamp harps have a nice appearance and are accurately sized, but they look to me as if they are painted, i.e., have a "brass finish" and are not actually brass, as in the description. The bottom bracket and finial are well fitted.

worked just great, this is for being able to put a shade on a lamp that goes over the bulb. its easy to install and works great. one of the easiest harps i use in lamp repair.

High Quality and Exactly the Right Size
I have an office lamp I bought from a thrift store that was missing its shade. Fortunately, I had a very side one that works perfectly but when I tried it on, the harp that was original was much too large, making the shade sit very high. I lived with it for a while but it annoyed me so I looked for shorter harps. I took a risk with these because I wasn't certain how high I need them. Six inches would have work, per my measurements, but I feared they would sit too close to the 150-watt incandescent bulb, which of course gets hot. So I went with the 8-inch and they are perfect. Highly recommended.
