P Zero Race TLR SL-Black-28-622 (3927800)

I put these new Pirellis on my red Pinarello for this year’s Étape du Tour (normally I use Vittoria). Have put a few hundred miles on them so far. These tires are fast, look good, and I’ve not had any punctures so far. I also appreciate that they are 26mm - my bike won’t fit 28’s so this gives me juuust a little smoother ride than 25mm. Edit: I have about 500 miles on these tires now. They feel grippier and more supple than most training / endurance tires, I’ve achieved a number of PRs on them, and had zero punctures. Pirelli seem to have figured out that elusive balance between speed and durability. In the past it has always seemed like a tire can be fast and have low rolling resistance (ie Vittoria Corsa) but it punctures all the time, or a tire can be durable but fairly stiff and slow (ie Vittoria Zaffiro or Rubino). I would put these P Zero’s right up there with Continental GP5000’s in terms of speed and durability. Also the tan sidewalls look amazing on my red Pinarello.

I switched out my stock bontrager tires on my Trek to the Pirelli P7 Sport and it was like night and day. The Pirelli’s rode smooth and fast and performed amazing on my 30 mile test. It’s a great value for money as it’s not as expensive as the P Zero Sport, but offers a close enough performance for everyday use. I’ve been riding in NYC roads and haven’t had a puncture yet so that’s a major plus for the puncture resistance. Overall a great tire at a great price.

Very good quality of a bicycle tire

This is my "go to" tire on my Trek Madone SLR7. It's fast and grips well. My rear tires go about 2,000 miles and the fronts last about 3,000 miles. (I am heavy for a cyclist, 212 pounds. Lighter people would probably get more mileage)

I swapped the tires on my gravel bike for these because the vast majority of my rides are pavement only. A magnificent improvement to my speed and ability to keep pace with my friends. However, I have had to replace three tires this summer due to tears in the sidewall caused by potholes or broken pavement near my home. Sadly, I need to move back to something a bit more durable.

500 miles no flats, definitely a gatorskin competitor , rolls nice . Very happy with the purchase, no tools needed for install..

I could not love these tires more. The ride is grippy, supple, smooth & fast. I’ve found them to be puncture resistant especially when paired with RideNow TPU inner tubes. And they look as fantastic as they ride. Would recommend!!

Really like this tire. I run t hem on Zip 353 hookless rims. I have had not issues at all. Smooth rolling and corner well. Best part is they seem to be quite durable. I got 2500 miles on the rear tire. This is very good for me weighing 180 lbs. Most tires I have used last about 1500. I suspect there front tire will last 3 times that.
