Actually tastes like sugar & we tried so many different sweeteners.
My husband has stage 4 HCC liver cancer & can't eat sugar. Cancer feeds on suagr. So I bought several different sweetness from Stevia, Sweet & Low & Monk fruit to put in his Soursop tea. I wouldnt even tell him.i was trying something else, hid thr new sweetner id get & every single time, He could always tell it wasn't sugar. Then, my friend sent me Allulose & I wasn't too hopeful, so I was so surprised when he took a sip, didn't say anything & then kept drinking it. I didn't tell him til a week later, I even filmed him drinking it & not noticing. So if you are someone who is focused on health, this is way healthier then sugar. Bakes just like sugar. Taste just like sugar. It measures a little more then sugar, so for 1 cup of sugar you use 1 cup & a quarter of allulose. It is a little expensive, but for my husband to be healthy, I'll do.it.

Don't be afraid to buy this product! It lives up to its name.
We loved it! I had purchased a small 1lb to try it. We were waiting for a bitter aftertaste or some type of chemical smell you get from replacement sugars. We were pleasantly surprised at the clean sugar scent; the taste was spot on, not bitter, not chemical, just pure and sweet. I love the healthiness of the product, and the fact that I do not experience any digestive upset or GERD issues while using this product is a huge relief for me. Going forward, it will be a perfect sugar-free replacement for my recipes. I am looking to purchase their entire line for all my future baking needs.

Not quite as good as sugar but not bad
It says to use 1 1/3 cup to 1 cup for sugar replacement. In my iced tea, that was too strong. A one to one ratio works for me. It doesnโt taste like sugar exactly, but it does taste somewhat sweet, like a fruity sugar. I have not used it for baking or cooking. I do not have diabetes, so I donโt know how or if it affects a blood sugar test. I got it for Keto & did not go out of ketosis while using. I doubt that Iโll buy it too often as it is dear

Not so sweet in my coffee but will try it in other things.
received immediately, that was great, however Allulose doesn't taste sweet, I guess it will work well in baked goods but just to put in my coffee, not so well. It was my first time trying it and since I am pre-diabetic, I needed to utilize something like this as they say most other sweeteners work against my Type 2 Diabetics...will try baking with it and hope it works well.

I may be an alien
Okay I don't care if this is the top of the charts healthiest sweetener.. My brain doesn't recognize it as sweet... After 2 teaspoons in my large coffee and not recognizing it is sweet I stopped taking it... If I have to take a whole bag to recognize it is sweet is definitely not a healthy item... I typically use organic liquid stevia and it only takes me a few drops to believe I'm having sweets... I have zero side effects from stevia compared to any other sweetener that I know of... Monk fruit is way too expensive but it's great if you can afford it... Real monk fruit ...not the crap you buy at Walmart that's mixed with multadextrin!!!! I'm not even afraid of sucralose, it literally takes me three kernels and an extra large coffee or tea for my brain to believe it's sweet... That stuff is so so strong and I'm not talking Splenda again garbage that's mixed with maltodextrin...lol... So if I can get away with four drops of Splenda and or three kernels of sucralose ( yes I know it's horrible for your gut health but not in the quantity that I use it)... I'm sticking with either of them... There's a lot of studies and a lot of mixed interpretation of those studies... However it seems the most common consensus is that staying under five teaspoons of Splenda/ sucralose a day I will not destroy your mitochondria bio intestinal "bugs"... If you buy the real stuff you have to be so careful even when you open the bag the dust makes you taste sweet... There's no way humanly possible for anyone to have that much in a day... So is it the sucralose or the maltodextrin that's wreaking havoc on people's intestinal walls... I've used myself as a test dummy and I do not have any reverse side effects from neither... I have tried going without stevia for a year and vice versa sucralose without a year and I have had no intestinal changes or neurological... However I would be careful with stevia because some people have neurological issues with it ..so just make sure you're not one of them.. And maybe this sweetener is kind of like cilantro ๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐คฃ I'm one of those people that cilantro taste like dish soap to me... So maybe I'm one of those people that taste nothing in the sweetener...lol
