Decent pants
Decent pair of pants, however, the belt loop on the front right is not as wide as the rest of the belt loops, making the use of a standard rigger-style belt difficult to wear.

Great fit and comfortable! Buy a size down.
Love these pants. Bought one pair to try and will buy more in different colours. Read a review that said to buy a size down, so I did and the reviewer was right. A perfect fit. I've been very impressed with Tacvasen products.

these pants are hilarious
First off, I've decided to keep these. I need them for a trip I'm taking in a few weeks to Iceland. I'm going to be doing some photography, so I need something comfortable with extra pockets. I'm slim but not skinny, about 5'9", 170-175 pounds and 48 years old. And I'm a 31" waist. With those specs, it's tough to find well-fitting camping/hiking pants at an reasonable price (there's no way in heck I'm spending $90-$170 on some REI, Columbia, LL Bean, Kuhl, or Patagonia nonsense). Most everything is either yoga-pant tight or baggy enough to do some shoplifting at your local kitchen appliance store. So these were better than most I've seen, although they're a little baggy in the calves and thighs and don't feel that "tactical" (I ordered size 32, which for some reason is the smallest they have. What makes them hilarious is that they look exactly yet nothing like the pictures on Amazon. I ordered Color: #002-grey. These are definitely the pants in the picture, but the picture tells you only so much. For one thing, it's hard to see in the Amazon pix, but ALL of the pockets and a lot of the seams are at funny diagonals. If, like me, you spent a alot of your teen and young adult years wearing those old boxy army surplus fatigues, these "tactical" britches will seem like the Pentagon had hired a team of clothing designers freshly graduated out of fashion institute. And honestly? they didn't do a bad job. The funky angles kinda spruce the pants up a bit and might even catch eyes. I've definitely seen worse things come down a fahsion show runway. So, yeah, I like them. But I don't really get into the whole paramilitary thing that's popular with the tactical pant consumer base. I'm just out here walking through the brush with a camera and a bunch of lenses and whatnot. If the whole militia thing is your bag, these trousers might be a bit fashion-forward. PS: I ordered "grey" and I'm pretty certain that what I got was more a purple-toned slate. On that the Amazon pictures definitely were misleading. It's not a *bright* purple, but wearing anything besides black or brown with it will make it look pretty purple. If you wear a green top, you'll look like the Joker.
