We decided to redo our master closet as it was a wire closet system that had collected so much dust over the years it looked terrible, and cleaning between all the wires was not going to happen. Having a professional company come out to do our closet would have been great, but have you seen their prices? No thanks. Anyway, We found the Closet Maid Modular system and decided to do it ourselves. Putting this together was really easy. I will say that I read in another review that the directions have you put the shelf together before you add the rails for the drawers, and that it is a lot easier to add the rails while the sides are flat on the floor, rather than crawling in. Anyway, that's what we did, and I do think it made it much easier. We did use a drill, as my carpal tunnel hurts too much to use a screwdriver for long. Just use the drill mindefully so you don't go too fast and over tighten and crack the wood. We stacked another unit on top, and have clothing rails attached to both sides. It looks great.

We used two of these in our closet. They weren't super difficult to put together, but also not the easiest things ever. They're not as sturdy as I would've thought they'd be for the price, and we had to do quite a bit of adjusting to get the drawers to slide easily. I wish the drawer fronts came up a little higher since you can see everything inside, but again, this is in our closet which I don't see having a lot of traffic besides us. They do look nice, and I like that they're stackable with other pieces.

Just assembled them today, so I’ll update if they don’t hold up. Pros so far: Holds more than expected Looks great Seems sturdy Cons so far: As I said these are brand new so the biggest con I have is that the assembly instructions are AWFUL. The first one took me almost 2 hours to put together, the second one I put together in a different order and it took me 45 mins. Recommendation for assembly: 1)Use a drill for all of the screws it will save you a LOT of time and effort. 2) be careful you’re putting them on correctly, but put the drawer tracks on the sides first, the way the instructions have you do it you’re putting them on once the cabinet is standing. They are so much easier to install when the dude pieces are laying flat and they don’t get in the way at all.

Terrible product - the wood is atrocious quality, and literally a chunk of the wood has broken off and the top drawer is now unusable. Not to mention that the drawers get stuck anyway and it’s just a pain to use.

I love the fact that it's a drawer with some open space so I can peak what's in the drawer. I used honeycomb organizers, and organized small items like socks, underwear etc in it very nicely, plus all my high end sport suits fit well. Price is great too so 5-star for overall value and functionality. Only thing to note is that during assembly, this wood is very compressed and fragile. If you don't put something correctly or put too much pressure, you can break that part of the wood. Happened to me while assembling the drawers but I rescued it. Otherwise, great look and additional to any closet.
