If you have a loud tapping most likely itโs this part.
Fixed my 2018 Silverado!! I thought I had a lifter tap but it ended up being this part!! Pretty simple install. Price is extremely reasonable and made my truck run normal again! It will still make a ticking noise but not as loud as the old one that was sticking internally. Fast to install compared to a lifter!! No leaks here the rubber o-ring is good quality too. But when you install it put a little engine oil on the o-ring to make the installation easier. In the video you can hear my truck idling normally it used to be rough. Picture is the old part 100% match and function. Iโll will also replace the evap solenoid that by the gas tank to seeming that itโs a part routinely changed.
