OVO

Ovo: A most magnificent and colorful creation about an entertaining colony of insects. The story was crazy, funny, whimsical, romantic, creepy, daring and, most of all, chock full of terrific music. We now have two cds of this marvelous soundtrack, which we purchased the evening of the performance. Now we also have an MP3 version. The singing cockroach has a beautiful voice btw, never thought I would say that lol. Cirque du Soleil, many bravos to each and every one of you for a stunning show!! We loved it so much, we saw it twice in one week.

Love this soundtrack! We saw the show earlier this year and the music as always is outstanding, but there was something about the music of Ovo. It is mellow and fast pace, driving and relaxing. It is hard to identify what that something is, but when I want to relax I put on Ovo. While Allegria is one of my favorite songs by Cirque Du Soleil and I like many of the songs on Saltimbanco, the Ovo soundtrack outshines them all for me. If you have seen the show you will enjoy the music, if you haven't seen the show you will enjoy the music from Ovo.

Having seen Ovo in person, the CD brings back being there. The titles, as unimaginative as they may seem, describe fairly accurately, what was happening on stage. I can't see myself buying a product merely because it says Cirque du Soleil, but I am pleased with this one if for no other reason than seeing the show initially was so enjoyable.

I am huge fan of Brazilian music and of Cirque Du Soleil! I always enjoy the music at the shows but this score really hit the spot for me. of course, it is always fun to remember what you saw at the show while you listen to each song. nicely done!

Not one of my favorites, but is still very good music!

I enjoyed it, generally love music cirq du soleil and brasilian music and this was no exception. Probably continue completing my collection with this kind of music

You just can't go wrong with Cirque music and this CD proves that theory! Love it!!!! It has a real Brazilian flair to it.

オーヴォを見に行った時に歌声・メロディに惚れ込んでしまいました。会場で買えると気づかず、後で大探し。 一度アマゾンで注文をかけるも入荷されず、見込みもないらしかったので再度ショップをかえて注文。はじめの注文より値段がアップしてしまいました。 アルバム風なのかと思いきや、会場そのまま集音した感じのCDでした。オーヴォが思い出される・・。 なんという種の音楽なのでしょうか？こういった系の音楽、あの歌姫のアルバムも欲しいです。

OVOの公演を思い出しながら毎日聴いています。大満足です♪♪♪

昨年よりオーヴォの宣伝がフジテレビで流れています。 公式サイトにもありますが、 OVO＝オーヴォとはブラジルポルトガル語で「卵」のことです。 そしてTV-CMで流れてくる音楽は、 サンバのバトゥカーダ＝打楽器演奏やブラジル北東部のフォホーという音楽。 ブラジルはポルトガルやオランダ、フランス、イタリアの移民、 そして奴隷として連れてこられたアフリカ各地の民族による混血国家ですから その音楽もヨーロッパやアフリカの影響を強く受けたミクスチャー音楽。 ブラジルは広いのでサンバやボサノヴァだけじゃなく、 地域によっていろんな音楽性があります。 それだけに音楽的な質の高さは世界に知られています。 TV-CMで流れる音楽だけを聴いていても、その音楽性の高さが知れるはずです。 しかもシルク・ド・ソレイユの音楽だからといって手を抜いていない。 きちんとブラジル音楽ファンを満足納得させるだけのクオリティーを持っています。 誰が音楽に携わっているのか、著名なブラジル系ミュージシャンが関係しているのか まったくわかりませんが、このサウンドトラックは買って損はないと思います。 日本盤も発売される予定があるとのことで、 その場合、どなたが解説、ライナーノーツを書くのか期待と不安が…。 ブラジル音楽に詳しい方だったらいいんですが…。

お台場での公演を観て感動しこのCDを購入しました。 聞いているだけでいろんなシーンを思い出します。 予定より１週刊も早く届き、商品もきれいな状態で届き大変満足です。 ありがとうございまし。

オーヴォ大阪公演8/24を観て、翌日、購入しました。演目順と違うけど、曲とともにパフォーマンスが蘇ります。特にBanquete (フィナーレ)は、最高です。感動します。今回は、主要キャラクターに日本人が抜擢されていたのも嬉しいですよね。
