Can you read the time in the dark?

It's NOT LIGHTED. The background is dark and hard to see the numbers. Cannot read from across the room over 5 feet. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Why is it talking about power outages when it’s battery operated?

When the battery runs out,you just need to replace the new batteries and don't need to adjust the time,because there is a Li-battery to memory the correct time.

The" hour" and "minute" number is 2.7 inch tall X 1.25 inch wide. The "second“ number is 1 inch tall X 0.5 inch wide. The number of the bottom row is 0.8 inch tall X 0.4 inch wide.
