Works perfectly with 1800W coffee roaster - doubling the wattage capacity is key
Works perfectly, quietly and stays cool. People with issues are likely not getting enough headroom. Double the wattage required by the device being used +/- go get the right size transformer. I bought 3000W transformer for 1800W device.

Nice idea, doesn't deliver
This thing is an absolute pile. It worked well for about a week. Purchased to use with a coffee machine and air fryers, both of which has a lower stated power draw than this transformer (to allow for spikes in startup voltage within the machine). In the beginning it worked very well. After a few months (right around when the 3 month warranty expired) it started to pop the fuse every now and then but was still very usable, just a minor annoyance that every 20 coffees or so the fuse would pop. Now, anytime anything is plugged into this transformer and turned on the fuse pops. It had degraded to the state that it's completely unusuable, within the space of 7 months. Don't waste your money, buy something else.

Works well, read the instructions.
We used this to run a well pump. Please read the directions provided by Anbull to get a transformer 2-5x stronger than the max draw of the appliance you are using. We blew several fuses before realizing what the issue was. The pump was 1250 watts which apparently was too much. We got a 500w pump and it performed well.

This product is crap product.
This is a crap product. I used this transformer for the first time and the thing burn out. I doesn't work any more. I use a drill for 1 less minute. The tool was 550 watts. Thr transformer recommends 2.5 times the wattage. This is almost 6 times the wattage. The fuse didn't blow !!!! What crap. Amazon you should stand behind this product and issue a credit!!

Literally blew up in a cloud of smoke
I used this to run a window AC unit in a garage that required 230V. Running wattage for the AC unit is 1060W. I ordered the 3000W step up/down converter, set the input to 110V. It ran great for a couple hours each day until today. I heard two loud pops. Looked back and saw smoke billowing from the unit and no power. Fuse was unable to be reset and I couldn’t actually turn the power switch to “off” any longer. Needless to say, this thing is toast and I’m sending it back. I have no idea if the AC unit was damaged either. I’d avoid this product if you’re running anything expensive and don’t want to risk fire.

Shipped overseas, didn't work
I shipped this to my wife in the Philippines so she could use the 110 appliances in the house, arrived with a blown fuse in it, replaced the fuse with a new one and nothing, now I have to figure out how to return it back to the US so I can try something else, was really counting on this to work, highly disappointed...
