Is this safe to use in a bathtub?

Since the crayons have not been formulated for use on other surfaces, they could cause staining on materials that cannot be laundered. What is the size of the individual crayons? I bought another brand which are unfortunately the exact perfect size to fit in a 12 month olds mouth.
