I live in San Francisco where it's usually cool. But climate change has steadily increased air temperature. I have been using a Hunter desk fan for YEARS. But the temperatures are much higher now and I needed a fan that would cool a larger area. I hesitated in buying the DREO because of plans to move to a place with central air conditioning. SF doesn't even put AC in NEW apartments. Finally after a few hot days I bought the DREO. I had researched it and it was highly rated. All I can say is this fan is awesome. It is so much better than my blade fan. Even on the lowest speed it is moving cool air all throughout my small apartment. It is so quiet and powerful at the same time. I haven't had to go beyond the 5 setting and it is blissfully cool, quiet and so much like central air it's surprising. If anything it is much quieter and cooler than central air. I need cool air at night and really need air to circulate. This fan is perfectly quiet and awesomely superior at maintaining a quiet, cool, temperature whilst I sleep. I set the speed on 4 to sleep and it is much quieter than my Hunter fan. My previous fan is NOT noisy but the DREO is practically soundless at the speed setting of 5 and entirely soundless below a 5. I haven't had to use a higher speed but I did test it all the way up to 12 and with oscillation and the sound is still quite impressively minimal. It is also very easy to clean. The other fan had to be disassembled for cleaning and dust would accumulate making it difficult to maintain. This DREO has a very easy access to the filter for cleaning. So far I have only dusted it, but given its height, quiet power and actual ability to make the air COOL I am very happy with my purchase. It is very slim in its design and quite easy to move if necessary. I love it!

I have 5 of these fans!! I absolutely love the DREO brand. I have the heaters as well. The air is so clean and crisp that my air conditioner is rarely used. Cooling performance is a huge plus, I’m so impressed with how well these fans cool the room, that I continue to add more of DREO fans, heaters etc throughout my house and work place. Brightness on these fans is adjustable, and at night the lighting is not a problem. The versatility of these fans is great. It is easily added to the app and Alexa, Google too. Speed settings on this fan go 1-12 . It has options for air such as natural, sleep, auto etc. Reliability of these fans is superb! It does what it is supposed to do and that’s cool my house especially my bedroom when I am at work. My cats, dogs, plants enjoy the cool breeze and my human family members has no complaints either . The tower fan fits great in any room, and/or space, with or without option to rotate. This heats old school box fans that did nothing but blow hot air around. I can’t suggest this fan more than I already have. If you have not purchased this fan, I question why not, do it!! It’s worth every penny and you will not be disappointed. I really like this fan, since I wanted something that covered more vertically, and was quieter than regular fans. This is definitely very quiet, and I don't think would disturb even a very light sleeper on the lowest setting. The fan cools very well even on the lowest setting, and has kept me comfortable even when it is very hot in the room. I like the controls on top, and the remote that came with it, both are very easy to figure out and use. The fact it lights up when you make any changes is nice, so you can see it in the dark if needed, but then goes off after about a minute so it's not jarring in a dark room. It covers a wide area as it turns, and fairly light weight for its size so easy to move and adjust as needed. Was easy to assemble and attach the base, and I love that it is easy to take apart to clean as well.

Average joe review. I repeat i am not a paid actor. I write honest reviews. I want to add i’ve tried and retruned ALOT of these types of fans because they all claim they move air. 80% of them are box fans with no good air flow or directional air flow ( you have to have it pointed right at you to feel it) If you are looking to move some air this fan is for you. 1. Does it move air. Yes it does. Goes from 1-12. 1-6 it is quiet. At 6 it moves just enough air. On 10-12 it moves alot of air and it is a bit louder but not overwhelming. 2. How far does it reach. On 12 you can feel it across a decent sized living room. On 6 probably a good size couch to wall away. 3. I bought 3 of them. Keep one in loving room, one in bedroom and one i bought still in box as a backup. We all hate that one product we really like and then it goes out and you can never find it again. 4. The remote is nice but it has to be pointed directly in front of the unit. You can use it across the room but if its osculating then you will have to wait til its pointing at you. I do have 1 con. I don't like the menu settings. They are tiny and hard to see. If it’s on economy mode this thing will shut off. I turned that shhh off. Overall it is a good fan. It is easy to clean. Its tall. It can move alot of air or just enough depending on your likeness. It looks decent enough.

This fan works much better than I was expecting! It also puts out really cold air, which was also surprising, and it's really quiet. My living room is really big (not sure how much sq footage) but it cools the entire room. We've been having extremely hot weather (96-100 degrees) and my air did not want to stop running even after turning up the setting, but after using this tower fan, I was able to turn the air setting up and was able to stay cool while keeping the air from running nonstop at the same time. It works so great that I gave it to my mom and I ordered 2 more: one for myself and one for my brother.

We love this fan!! Highly recommend this fan!!! It is really quiet and makes a nice breeze. Very large surface of the tower used for the actual airflow. It has some neat options that we haven't tested all of them yet. Great to have a remote as well. We had it on out on the deck and our friend within 5 minutes said " I WANT THAT!!!!" Well it was simple enough to share the link!!

I live in Arizona and we need fans. Most of us run them 24/7 all year round. This is the absolute best fan I have ever bought! Great design- saves space, and the best part is it roates from one side of the room all the way to other side. It stays at both ends equally for a longer time. It's like a thoughtful fan as it takes time to benefit the entire room! Lol I haven't had mine above 3 yet and it's been perfect. It's 12 ft or so from the couch and I see can my dog's ears blowing in the breeze! So the flow is GREAT! Whisper quiet, you will forget it's on. Only downfall is I want one for my bedroom, but they are way too quiet. I need the sound and wish they sold a nosier one too for us that need it for sleep. Buy the fan! You will love it.

I just set it up a few minutes ago and already love this fan. It’s was super easy to put the base together and no tools needed. I currently have it on level 5 and cannot believe how quiet yet powerful it is. I live in the south in a house without central heat and air. It’s currently 8000° and 500% humidity. This fan almost immediately started assisting my window air conditioner and brought the temperature of my room down. This may be one of the best things I have ever bought to beat the heat.
