The glass wasn’t as good as the Bushnell’s that I had planed on replacing.
These binoculars felt very good in my hand. Easy, smooth focus, I can’t say enough good things about their ergonomics. But that’s where my praise ends. First, plainly on the box, it says made in Japan. Everyone knows, Japan makes some superb optics. But Leupold is an American company. I literally took the Zeiss binos out of my cart and added the Leupold just for that reason… comparing these to the Bushnell Elites, that cost half as much, and that I’ve had for several years, the images wasn’t nearly as sharp or clear. Which is why I sent them back. I only want the value that I paid for.
