Very good for blocking the sun, and stylish

I got this hat to use when out in my garden and i've used it a couple times and so far I am happy with it. It has a wide brim that keeps me shaded and I like the cute bow detail in the back and the velcro closure in the back which makes it easier to adjust the size. I do feel like this hat sits a little low on my brow but its not a big deal. The hat is lightweight and while I haven't traveled with it, it does seem like it will travel well as it seems flexible material.

I LOVE THIS HAT. I'm of Irish decent, so I have very light skin. I've been very hesitant about wearing hats because I will, without fail, get a migraine if I wear one for more than 10 minutes at a time. 1. This hat is so light weight that I barely feel it. 2. It doesn't put ANY pressure on head, so the blood supply never gets choked. No headaches from pressure. 3. It's cute. I'm not normally one to care about how I look in a hat, because I'm doing it for sun protection, not style, but this hat looks adorable. It's feminine without sacrificing protection. 4. I don't have to wear a ponytail for it to fit properly/look good. 5. It provides a lot of coverage, so I was able to go without my sunglasses for a bit (I get migraines from wearing sunglasses for too long.) I'm so glad I bought this hat. I went outside to garden and it didn't budge at all. It's a snug fit without squeezing your head at all. Fits like a baseball cap but without all that weight.

I got this for the excruciating heat and sun in TX. I'm Irish, so the sun and I have a very difficult relationship. As in, I have to stay away from it. Although, I like to take walks, hike and garden. So, I just needed something to cover my eyes and possibly the tops of my ears while out. But, still able to wear a pony tail. This is absolutely the hat for the job. My ears stick out and the hat pushes them further out; making me look like an elephant with a hat on. I look so silly but, I really don't care. It blocks my face and ears from the sun. It's lightweight and I don't sweat around the band. I love that the top is detachable and with adjustable velcro, the hat easily fits while wearing my hair up. Also, I wear glasses and most hats push them into the sides of my head. As you can see it the picture, no problems there. I took off one star because I was pretty miffed that only one day after I purchased the hat, it went down $4. (petty, I know) All in all, highly recommended for anyone who wants a sun hat that fully does the job of blocking sun off your face, ears and top of the head.

I have a problem with a sensitive scalp so putting on hats always tears at my hair so I am never able to completely seat the hat on my head. This hat is PERFECT because the back opens completely up and reattaches with a Velcro strap. This allows me to seat the hat comfortably on my head and adjust the Velcro once in place. I read a lot of reviews from people who really liked the hat but hated it for windy days because it would blow off. Simple fix. I also ordered separate hat straps and hooked them inside the hat and pulled the string to tighten below my chin. I think it’ll work like a charm. I haven’t worn it outside on a windy day to test its efficacy, but there’s no reason it shouldn’t fix that problem. It’s very lightweight but as I haven’t worn it at the beach yet, I can’t comment on the sun protection, but the front bill is large enough for protection in my opinion. If you’re looking for protection on the back of the neck, keep looking as there’s no coverage for the back part. I ordered white and am happy with the look of it. I’ll probably also order another color to change it up.

I bought this hat in three colors: black, blue, and grey. Very lightweight with good sun coverage. There is enough stiffness in the brim so that you can see on the sides, yet you don't give up protection. It is extremely lightweight, so good for hot weather. The best part about this hat is that it fits my big head. I measured my head at 23" - enough room to have the hat on without leaving an indentation in my forehead or squishing my hair down too much - and this hat accommodates all that. The hats came a bit wrinkly, and all I did was take a steam iron to the seams and areas that needed a bit of pressing and it worked beautifully. For the price, they can't be beat. I was going to order one expensive hat from a company I'd dealt with in the past, but decided to try these first. I got three hats for half the price of one and am thrilled! It's hard to find hats for bigger heads...hope this review helps. I had to return two other hats to Amazon because they were too small. The only thing they lack is a chin strap, but the velcro adjustment on the back can make it fit more tightly if there is wind. The bow is small on the back and unobtrusive, but if you don't like it, it is easily removed. I highly recommend these hats!

I didn't like the fit of where it was on my ears. It felt tight so I returned.

This is the best visor/hat. I will confess that I have never zipped the top back on and only wear it as a visor. My head is very sensitive due to migraines and this is like wearing nothing. I have three colors but really only wear the black because it filters the most light out. I like the adjustability and I use it to attach the visor to my bag when I am not using it. I like the look. I have had it for years, abuse the heck out of it and it still looks great so amazing value for the money. Only bought a new one because I lost it. New ones quality is even better!

I ordered this hat because I'm prone to migraine and find that bright and dappled sunlight sets it off. So far, I'm really pleased with this hat. I have a largeish head (23 inches/59 cm) and this hat fits snugly and securely. It can be adjusted to size with the velcro straps at the back. It has a deep brim (4.5 inches/11.5 cm) at the front, which sweeps round to behind the ears (2.5 inches/6.5 cm above the ears) so you're shaded from the side as well . It blocks out much more sunlight than an average baseball cap. It's well made and sturdy feeling. I'm really happy with this purchase and have had fewer migraines this month than last - though that may be a coincidence.

Super happy with my purchase. This hat is comfortable and it provides good sun coverage for the face as well as looks super cute plus it’s reasonably priced. Checks all the boxes…I will likely buy a second one soon.
