Nothing compares to this lip balm! This has been the only thing we have successfully used to prevent burning and sun damage to our lips. My husband had a bad burn years ago and since the. If he has even minimal exposure of his bottom lip it splits and won’t heal for months. Dermatone has solved this! Even the discoloration of the lip is gone. We always have this with us. Blocks the sun and the wind with no weird taste or smell. It also lasts for a long time. We tried everything else we could find locally before stumbling Dermatone. Now we will never use anything else!

I am an ultra runner and have gone through so much chapstick trying to find a good one that doesn’t immediately get licked or rubbed off, doesn’t feel like putty on your lips, and also provides SPF/wind protection. This is the stuff. It is super thick just be warned. This isn’t your ladies type of lip gloss, it’s heavy duty. I put it on and it stays on for quite awhile during my run. The wind hasn’t gotten through and I haven’t gotten blistered lips. It does’t dry out on your lips creating a thick dried goopy mess either. I will have to look but a tiny tin would be nice just in case it is super hot out and melts…..

I like how this product combines hydration with sun protection. The formula feels natural, not waxy, and it doesn’t need constant reapplying. Perfect for hiking, skiing, or just everyday use. Having SPF 30 in a lip balm makes it stand out from others. Highly recommend!

This is really moisturizing, smooth, slightly waxy chapstick that provides sun protection, and it's my absolute favorite. It feels thick when I apply it, and the effects last a long time--so a little goes a long way. My lips always feel incredibly hydrated and soft whenever I use Dermatone, so I'm glad I found this brand and I rave about this product to all of my family and friends!

I have loved this product for years. I was glad to find it on Amazon because it's not common in stores. The 3 pack is a value. Even at full retail it's worth the money. I use this daily because it is long lasting, doesn't give me the greasy mouth shiny look, and has no perfume flavorings, or color. Great for outdoors--gardening, kayaking, skiing, etc. BTW, Dermatone's other sunscreen products are wonderful too especially the one containing zinc... Excellent protection for the nose and face in sun, wind and extreme cold. I find no problem with allergies using it even though I have certified allergies to formaldehyde, colophony, and propolis. I recommend it for anyone.

It’s nice at first then you realize the texture when you rub your lips together like you can feel a very soft, thick and waxy and the lip balm kinda clumps in your lips. The medicine smell isn’t as strong as other medicated lip balms. I really want to love it since it’s a classic and medicated but I feel like this lip balm isn’t for me because of the texture and the kinda there medicine smell/ feel. I like the strong medicine smell in my lip balm.

Quality

I use this lip balm (and their sun cream) all year long in the mountains and desert. Provides excellent sun protection and smells nice.
