I love ramen and, as a high school teacher, my students are somewhat ramen experts. Occasionally, one of them forgets his lunch and asks if I have food. Ramen is sometimes the solution. They LOVE this stuff. As in, they put it in their parents' Amazon carts so they can get their own. They like that it has no chemicals, is lower sodium, and has real ingredients that they can pronounce. I like those attributes also, but I especially appreciate the lack of MSG. I keep seeing reviews from people that say they don't like this ramen seasoning because it tastes different. Well, it does taste different. It doesn't have additives and MSG to enhance flavor. It just has flavor to enhance flavor. And that's what's different.

Flavor is awesome!

Tried this as I can’t find the yakisoba noodles I like at the grocery store any more. So I ended up with a 5lb package of plain ramen noodles that I divided up into 8oz packages and froze and I am trying to replicate the seasoning packet that came with the yakisoba noodles I like. Well I tried this and it wasn’t salty or spicy enough so I’m going to try adding more next time because maybe I just didn’t use enough but then I am thinking about adding other spices and seasonings to get the salty and spicy flavors but I don’t know oriental seasonings that well so it’s a shot in the dark kinda. It’s a great value if I can make it work. The ingredients are high quality. The quantity to use isn’t anywhere on the package. There are literally no directions. Maybe I can go to chat got or hit up grok on X to see how he likes his noodles. It’s a work in progress. For now I’m just going to try adding more of the seasoning as I’m cooking and see where that gets me before I go all crazy experimenting. This review may change as my recipe evolves. Stay tuned.

I was on the lookout for a bottle of chicken ramen seasoning to put on my ramen bricks, and when I came across this one seeing the high reviews and the chicken bouillon on the ingredients label I purchased it after about a week of deliberation. When it finally arrives I cook a bowl and add some seasoning, I take a bite and it tastes nothing like chicken ramen. I have no idea what this flavor is supposed to be but nothing near chicken ramen or any other kind I've tasted. Also note returns are not accepted for this item so think very carefully before wasting your money !

I liked the convenience of having a single item that can be added to chicken stock to make a tasty ramen base. We use fresh noodles, some meat, boiled egg and veggies to make a quick meal when we don't feel like traditional cooking. Great stuff.

This was no good for ramen. I do like it on popcorn, though it has a weird musty (moldy) taste sometimes.

I added my ramen to the boiling water and threw away the enclosed seasoning packet. I added a teaspoon of this seasoning and and a half teaspoon of chicken bouillon powder. The flavor blows away the taste of the regular ramen noodle packets. I think this was the best ramen I have ever eaten. I will definitely keep this in stock. The price is high. Maybe to high, but he flavor is AWESOME.

I love making my own ramen with this seasoning! It's great that it's low sodium. For my instant ramen, I take 2 cups of water, add 1 table spoon chicken bouillon, dehydrated veggies, 1 tablespoon of chili paste, and about 2 teaspoons of the ramen seasoning to the soup and let it come to a boil. I prep and add my shirataki noodles and let it boil in the soup for 5 mins; it smells so good and taste awesome. If you love ramen, you should get this seasoning.
