Wasn't Expecting to Have NO Problems!
To monitor experts/amateurs: take this with a grain of salt, as I am a total noob. For my first monitor experience, I was beyond impressed by the visual quality of this monitor. This monitor serves as an upgrade from an old TV (that wasn't even 1080p), so I'm sure the majority of my opinion is due to that! However, the display is very crisp, the colors are fantastic (I'm an artist as well, so this is important), and it works great for the games that I play (Overwatch, mainly)! The monitor is not the sturdiest and shakes when there is movement, but I have no concern about the build quality or anything coming loose. There were no dead pixels or cosmetic flaws. I am a big fan of the red accents as well. It's important to note that I am only using an HDMI 1.4 cable so I am limited to 120hz and lack some features. Despite this, it's remarkably good, and I can't wait to see how good it is using the DP it came with in the future! Overall to me, a great monitor that was definitely worth the price it's at!

5/5 Monitor after an Incredible Year of Gaming!
The gaming monitor I've been using for the past few years has been nothing short of amazing, offering exceptional value that continues to impress me. Its high refresh rate and low response time have provided a smooth and responsive gaming experience, allowing me to enjoy my favorite titles with precision and clarity. The display's vibrant colors and sharp resolution enhance the immersion, making games come to life in stunning detail. What sets this monitor apart, however, is its longevity and enduring quality. Despite years of heavy use, it remains as reliable as the day I bought it, proving that it's not just a great gaming monitor, but also an outstanding investment in the long run.

Perfect for casual gamer
I said casual gamer but really I clock in a solid amount of time in front of this monitor and a couple months later, it’s great. Keep in mind my review will apply to games and gameplay only as I don’t use it for media consumption or anything of the sort. Colors-great contrast without it being too much. Every single color looks pretty. Refresh rate- I never knew how important that was to gamers until I got this monitor, my kd in R6S went up by 1.2 simply by having better hertz. Value for money? No doubt, don’t wish for anything else. Con: Doesn’t have its own speakers so I needed to buy external speakers, you can directly connect headphones to the monitor which is a little weird but pop off. Overall I love it.

Rock Solid
I'm going to get a little technical here, but I'll try to be brief: First off, this is an excellent budget monitor with good to great performance in all regards. Motion handling/blur are as close to perfect as I've personally witnessed with no visible smearing at any part of the color spectrum that my eyes have noticed. My particular panel arrived with no dead pixels and just one patch of backlight bleed in the upper right - it's only visible in very dark scenes. Quite good for a budget IPS monitor. Color accuracy out of the box was a touch overly green and red. sRGB color accuracy is nearly perfect to my naked eye after minimal calibration and I'm confident that I'll be able to dial in perfect settings when I have more time. I've read that contrast with this monitor can be a bit poor, even for an IPS panel. This has not been my experience - While obviously not perfect, blacks are far deeper than I would have expected from a budget IPS panel. Contrast performance is worse in the dark grey and grey-black range with those colors looking more samey than the rest of the spectrum, but only if you're really looking for it. Your eyes should adapt quickly. The HDR mode is a joke. It technically accepts an HDR signal but you'll struggle to spot the difference. If you really want HDR on a budget, look for a high-quality VA panel instead as they can come relatively close to approximating the effect of true local dimming. Input latency is a non-issue, feeling a bit faster than my 32 inch Dell VA panel but a bit slower than my old Viewsonic XG2402 - one of the last great TN panels with blisteringly low input lag. All in all, extremely fast. Ghosting/overshoot are totally invisible on the Fast overdrive setting across most of the refresh range, though I will say that I noticed a hint of overshoot in the 60 FPS locked title Pizza Tower. Even this was minimal enough that I stopped noticing it after a while. Try lowering overdrive to normal if this bothers you and you expect to play around 60 FPS or lower. Finally, I will recommend that you shell out the extra cash for the stand if you have about one foot of side-to-side space. It's a bit rigid when using the pivot feature but keeps wobbling to a minimum. In conclusion: If you're looking for a good 24 inch, IPS 1080p monitor with a high refresh rate, you can buy this one with confidence.

Fantastic 1080p monitor except for the screen flicker
This monitor is extremely sharp for the price and with a max resolution of only 1080p. The frame rate is smooth as can be too on my PS5. After some tweaking in the settings the colors look awesome. Only major issue (besides some obvious backlight bleed) is the fact that is has screen flickering when starting any app on my PS5. The screen will go dark for 4 full seconds. This didn't happen when I first received it. I've had it now for 6 months and it's an every day occurrence. Sometimes it will flicker in the middle of game too although this is definitely more rare. I would rate this monitor 5 stars if it wasn't for that issue because I really love the clarity of the display so much. I have tried all ports, as well different HDMIs, and I still have this problem affect my screen. This may not happen to everyone, but it's just something to be aware of befre buying.

Very well balanced monitor
If you use an office monitor a lot whether it's for browsing the web, work, or gaming, this monitor is a great upgrade from that in all use cases. The good • The extra smoothness makes everything more comfortable. • 1080p on a 24-inch display is a great combo. • The IPS panel type is great for color reproduction and wide viewing angles. • Stand is from a higher end product. • Sub $200 price tag definitely makes this monitor one the best for value per dollar. The bad • Monitor can't be set all the way down to the legs. • Up and down tilt angles are pretty limited. • Can't turn the monitor left or right separately from the stand. • While minimal bezels look great, there's not a lot of places to grab onto without touching the display.

Big and clear, HDR might not be the best
This monitor is large, sharp, has good color, and supports my desired resolution and refresh rates. It's maybe not the best monitor for really serious gaming, but those monitors will cost you a lot more, and their extra functions would be wasted on me, being a more casual gamer and a software engineer, where text clarity is usually more important. I'm not completely convinced that this monitor properly supports HDR - it can accept an HDR10 signal, but colors are not necessarily as bright as I would expect when comparing to our OLED TV, where HDR can seem like staring into the sun. However, colors are definitely clear, and software settings in the OS can easily take care of any over-saturation. My only nice-to-have would be support for HDMI 2.1 or higher. This monitor has HDMI 2.0 ports, which restrict refresh rates at the monitor's native resolution (3440x1440) to 60 Hz. It does support 144 Hz via DisplayPort, however, so you're covered there.
