I was hoping to love it but disappointed to find the lid popping. It doesn't close properly.

I used this for my kindergartner and first grader. They were able to open the lids without assistance. I used thin sliced bread, which is the perfect size for this container. I was able to use this container for 2 years before one of the side handles started to come off at the seam. The other 3 haven't shown any sign of tear.

These little boxes are awesome. I had the orange set for years. They still do not leak. I love the colors. Perfect for my 6 year and 8 year old. They stack nicely in their lunch boxes. Easy to clean just put in dishwasher. The bottom where food mostly will touch is stainless steel and the lid is polypropylene. I have been told and read that PP is food safe. I know it used in labs and is inert. I choose to hand wash the lid. Personal preference.. I do not like to wash plastic in my dishwasher. The best part no more ziplock baggie trash.J.Dedes

I brought this because it had such great reviews. It is easy for a child to open up, but just having this product three months it no longer closes. For the amount of money I paid for this it should've lasted at least till school ends. Don't spend your money on this item.
