Is this "freeze-dried" or “spray-dried”?  Additionally, when is the raw colostrum scheduled to be available?

Our Colostrum is processed and packaged with Good Manufacturing Practices. It is carefully spray-dried at a low temperature and flash pasteurized with state-of-the-art technology that preserves maximum quality while providing maximum safety. Yes, it's true, we're working on a completely "raw" colostrum that we hope to bring to market very soon.

Are any antibiotics used on the animals?

Accepted Answer

We harvest from several small family ranchers in New Zealand... some of them use vaccines and most would never touch the stuff. That said, our animals may have been treated therapeutically with vaccines; however, if animals are treated in any way, they are withheld from harvest until such time as the therapeutic agent is metabolized and cleared. The overwhelming majority of the time, animals are withheld years after any agents have cleared.

Question 4

Under what conditions are the animals slaughtered? Halal or Kosher or no special religious conditions?

Accepted Answer

There’s no distress, no noise; it’s a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Once our animals arrive, they enter a room where they’re given an electric shock that renders them unconscious. This means that, when their throat is cut (to bleed out) in accordance with the halal practice, they don’t feel any pain — and the animal is pointed to Mecca. In my opinion, it’s the most humane and most respectful end anyone could hope for as our animals pass into the afterlife.

That being said, you are likely aware that there is no slaughter necessary for our Colostrum product.
