Dragon Herbs Heaven Mountain Goji Berries - 8 oz

I am not a newbie when it comes to Goji berries. I have used the Chinatown goji berries (much cheaper!) to the Goji berries that I got at a historic pharmacy used by the Emperors of China to the ones that are shipped automatically by Amazon. This Bija Heaven Mountain Goji berries top them all !! If you can imagine eating freshly sun dried raisins from California that still has moisture, then that is what you are eating with this Goji berries! The flavor was intense and very sweet. It lacked the medicinal taste that some Goji berries have (like NaturaVita for example).Supposedly this Goji berries may have more nutritional qualities as it was supposedly grown in a pristine environment thousands of miles away from modern industries in alkaline soils. Thus the name of Heaven Mountain.Whatever it is, I would base my purchase on the taste and texture alone and this is superb!

A friend recommended Goji Berries for digestive issues, so I tried them. The friend uses the organic, dried berries but they are hard to chew and not much flavor to me. I like the Bija Heaven Mountain Goji Berries because they are soft and easy to chew. Make a great snack or a nice addition to my oatmeal or salad. The flavor is interesting and is between a cranberry and a cherry which is refreshing. The cost is very reasonable compared to what my friend is paying for the dried berries. Rating not for Goji Berries, but for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Seller claims that these Goji berries are from the Ningxia region of China (see their "Product Description" on this page). So I paid an extra $2 thinking they were special. Instead, I got the normal Heaven Mountain Goji Berries that I could have bought for $2 cheaper from another seller. They could change their product description to say that it is grown in Central Asia, and not in China. I adore Heaven Mountain Goji berries, don't get me wrong...but don't advertise what you're not selling. And it's the same product for $2 more expensive. Buyers...it's your choice.

Tasted foment were all stuck together. So bad that had to cut the bag on 4 sides, soak them in warm water, let them dry out to get them to come apart.

I splurged and paid more for these Goji Berries because of the quality promised. I am not discrediting the quality, I guess I was paying more for (hopefully) a better tasting goji berry. These berries are hard to eat just by themselves, they are just not that tasty to me. I will try them on my cereal as suggested by someone else and I am sure that will help persuade me to eat them. I am sure that Bija Heaven Mountain is a good company - it is just that Goji Berries are an aquired taste for sure.

A very quality company and by far Dragon Herbs products are of the best quality herbs and contains the chi still in the herbs, I believe the owner really puts a lot of integrity into his company...no I don't work for them in case your wondering, I've just seen people transformed by the products.Let talk goji berries though these goji berries are the most super quality I have used them for years!These goji berries are the best you can find, they are soft and not dehydrated like some others which means the nutrients are locked in fresh. Usually these bags sell retail for 12-17 in some stores, this is a great deal and from a fin herbal company that puts a lot of care into their quality of productsIf your going to get any goji berries ever, these are the best. I have ordered from this bija company several timeS and I have not received any problems, but I will update if I domy favorite goji tip Add A small handful to 12. Or 16 oz of water and blend in blender for a super juice that will give you a great energy boost

It's true that I am a fan of Navitas Naturals foods, but their goji berries leave a bit to be desired I learned. Until I tried these Bija goji berries, I didn't know what I was missing. What a difference! They are soft, chewy, and taste better. In fact, I used to try to get my baby girl interested in goji berries when I bought Navitas Naturals brand, but she turned her nose up to them. However, Bija goji berries? She gobbles them up! If that isn't a testimonial, don't know what is! :)

These are really good for a snack and are really soft.I like the Healthworks Certified Organic Goji Berries a little betterto put in smoothies.
