MOTOALL HID Xenon Bulb Igniter Ballast Headlight Starter for BMW Benz Min VW Volvo

Driver side headlight stop working and I was thinking I had a bad bulb. But after some investigation I found this was the issue and I was so happy. Why was I happy? Because you can replace this part without removing the headlight assembly. It was all done in 10 and moved on with my life. No issues with performance and is was a direct replacement.

Easy to install. Works well, nice and bright for the money.

These are garbage do not fit, will not mount the pins are slightly off and the Grove will not line up. Waste of money should have just went to the parts house.

Looks almost identical to the oem part it replaced. I also installed a brand new oem bulb retainer ring at the same time since by old one had tabs broken. Test fitting the broken oem igniter on the new ring fit smoothly without much effort. This new igniter was much more difficult. I wouldn't even go on at first due to imperfections in plastic. I had to clip some excess bits from manufacturing with some flush cuts before finally getting it to go on and it required extra effort. It works perfectly so far and I hope it stays reliable for a long time since this can be a tedious and difficult job with replacing hid bulbs and hardware. I highly recommend removing the headlight from the car before working on the inside of yhe headlight housings. You will save yourself a lot of back pain and frustration

Worked like OEM part.

Very close to the one I took out. However, this would not fit my car without filing down the tabs some. It was too tight of a fit on the ring retainer, had to file inside the 4 tabs to get this to lock into place. Also the housing around the plug broke off with little ease. Had to use electrical tape wrapped around the housing to secure the plug into the unit. Poor quality!

Way cheaper than through an auto parts store for the exact same thing. Great item. You won’t be sorry.
