Said it will work with Lynx but it is red tip to dock and this shows black tip. Is this the red or black tip?

Sirius uses two adapters for its radio dock. Now, they all have red tip. Measure the OD of the plug, if it is 4.75mm (3/16"), you can use this cable. If it's smaller, 3.0mm (1/8"), you can use the following item, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007O5DBJG

does this have an internal fuse or do you need to wire a fuse inbetween?

No internal fuse for the power adapter. I just branched off of the radio power and did not add an in line fuse. This adapter doesn't draw much power at all.

Can you connect a usb plug to the wires ?

Sorry no, this kit is for a direct hard wire purpose. If you need USB cable for power, you can use the following item, ASIN: B00BPLZJ9A , it has two USB cables that fit two kind of dock from Sirius.
