Informative, fun and easy to read
The content of the book is brilliant, it's well written and gives a full comprehensive guide to starting up with youtube. I also really like the supportive nature of the book and tips on internet safety- which are especially important.

A great book for any age
Emma really knows her stuff and this is such a creatively written book. It is aimed at younger people aspiring to be successful on YouTube but absolutely anyone will benefit from the lessons, checklists, guidance and so on. The stuff on internet safety is also such a good idea. If a young person - or anyone else - in your life wants to give YouTube a go for working life, there is a lot of opportunity out there (I speak as the mum of a young YouTuber). This book is a great way to unscramble everything and come up with a strategy to succeed.

Engaging and easy to follow
I bought the full colour version on the recommendation of a friend for my wannabe YouTuber 11 year old daughter. The book is very comprehensive with a lot of information but is nicely presented in a very engaging way to make it child friendly. It has colourful animation and text so it is easy to follow. A fun way to learn!

If you like Pizza and cats and have the talents of Banksy, you'll enjoy it.
The title of the book is a bit misleading. I thought the book would be a step by step guide on fathoming the intricacies of creating an actual You Tube channel, e.g. handle, url, studio, defaults, licensing, branding, tax stuff, etc. But its a sort of 'prequel' YouTube book. My thoughts were, being a retiree, if I purchased a kiddies book it would explain things in simpler language. However....the book is really aimed at the aspiring young YouTuber who wishes to upload their own creative animation, i.e. cartoons etc. Which I doubt most 5-9 year olds would have the sufficient artistic talent to do so. However, praise must be given to several little 'gems' of advice and know-how that would transcend my 'grumpy old fart' comments.

Belli i disegni. Anche un buon esercizio d inglese, a livello abbastanza semplice

Excellent intro to YouTubing for any age
(I'll get to those screen shots when I'm done with the review.) One of the few YouTube guides that isn't all about making money. The focus is on doing a channel that's meaningful to you and fun to do. And to be kind. This is great advice for anyone, regardless of age. The bulk of the book is about finding your way, with suggestions on what you might do and some possible ways of doing it. There are decent discussions of what tools you need (published in 2021, some of the recommendations of software are out of date), the basics of setting up lighting and a work area and courtesy in shared space, the basics of green screen, a brief intro to animation, a brief rundown on filming and editing, and finally uploading (here is the one subject not as helpful for an adult—the recurrent advice is get a parent to help). Nothing deep but all of it useful. Be creative. Have fun. Do it. Improve as you learn. This is great advice.…There is mention of etiquette and safety, with extensive resources on safety in the last chapter (basically resource appendices of all kinds). I really do mean this is good regardless of age. I'm about 60 years older than younger end of the target audience. I found the book helpful and inspiring.…Most of the other books appeal to the get-rich-quick crowd. You gotta have something to say, something that will draw people in whether you're after their money or not. Apparently that never crosses anyone's mind (how many small businesses fail because of this? that strange idea that money will flow your way just because you're a business). (About the screen shots. I read using the Kindle app on an iPad, if that has anything to do with it.…When I'd leave the app to open others then come back to Kindle I'd find the pages scrambled—usually, but not always. It's elements of the preceding page superimposed on the current page, seemingly at random. This has never happened before. Very disturbing.…I tried reading in landscape and the problem went away. Tipped the pad back to portrait and it was fine until the next time I left the app. Come back to a messed up page, tilt and get back to reading. Odd. Very odd.)

Great book
I bought this book for my children who have expressed their interest in having a YouTube channel for some time. This is an informative book, that makes creating a channel easy, in simplified terms.

Long winded
This book is around 200 pages and could be half the length. I am currently trying to wade through the "personality" to the facts.
