DMT Dia-Paste Diamond Compound 3 Micron Knife Sharpener - White

This paste made an excellent job of sharpening the rotary blades on my Philishave electric razor. A small bit of flat glass, a dab of DMT and 30 seconds of gentle grinding, cutting as good as new.

I bought it and I am very satisfied with the results. Got a mirrored edge on my CRK Umnumzaan in short order

It is quite expensive for only two grams of diamond paste but you can count on it for a good concentration of evenly sized diamonds that are fairly quick to hone or polish your knife edges. I have used DMT diamond paste for years with really good results. Although a bit expensive a little goes a long way and you can coat several strips with it.

Great product for getting a knife 'hair popping' sharp. Value for money is debatable since there is very little actual product in the syringe, there doesn't even seem to be any information provided for the actual amount of compound you are getting. I was able to load up two medium sized (8" X 3") strops once. If you just need to to get a working edge, this stuff doesn't add much value, you can easily get a 'paper cutting' edge with just a 2 -sided diamond stone. You could also just use a strop with some chromium oxide to polish the edge though it would take a bit longer. I bought it mainly because I just enjoy sharpening and also like getting the sharpest possible edge but it doesn't stay that sharp very long in daily use. (even with so-called 'super steels').
