I'm 6.1 & 220 pounds. waist 40. what size should i buy?

My husband is 6 3 around the same weight. Waist 37-38 inches. Large fits perfect !

I have a 42 inch wast what size would fit me ??

I would say "XL" I made some comments below, if you care to read them. These briefs are very comfortable and are all cotton. The waist band doesn't curl like some of the other. Wash them first (of course) so that you don't get a mixture of colors do to fading (not a problem for me) Some Days I have a waist of 42", then it will drop down to a 40", then it bounces up to 44" Water retention is causing me a problem. However that is not what you asked. My size is "XL'" and they fit very nicely.

Do these briefs give you weggies? I knownit says they dont but in the past with other brands they still do

I have never had a problem with wedgies with these.
