Good
Good for chocolaty shot of espresso. its written medium toast but it's darker than medium hence taste is strong and bold. very bad for Americano but good for blind espresso or for milk based drink

Since buying our coffee machine (Sage Barista Express) in 2019 - a great machine that isn't without its issues (I know the insides of it rather more intimately than I wanted to, let's leave it at that) - we settled on Lavazza beans as our staple. Normally we go for the Rossa or Crema e Aroma beans, with Super Crema often being a touch more expensive. Recently the cost of our normal beans has increased and brought them closer to the Super Crema in price, so we tried these for a change. I'd say that these are tasty beans (though we slightly prefer the Crema e Aroma to these) and they make a good flat white (we weigh approximately 18.3g per FW, pull about a 35g shot - this on a reasonably fine grind) and we get a pretty consistent result. Good aroma, moderate strength and even though we're buying 6x1Kg at a time, they seem to stay perfectly fresh when opened (stored carefully in the fridge with airtight seal) for the three or so weeks it takes us to use a bag. Can't comment on the caffeine content versus the others, but sufficient would be the word I'd use. Compared to the prices from even a year or two back - when these could be had for around £10-£12/Kg - prices have gone up dramatically, but at just over £100 per 6Kg (based on our last purchase) - they're still great value relative to a lot of branded or small-batch alternatives. And whilst supporting your local roastery is a great thing to do, there's a strong argument to dial in on a consistent and easily available source of beans; my experience is that properly dialled-in Lavazza is preferable to an inconsistently dialled-in fancy artisan roast, at least with my limited skills!

I’ve purchased the 6-bag box of Lavazza Super Crema multiple times now, and it’s hands-down my favorite coffee for everyday use. Whether I’m pulling espresso shots or making cappuccinos, this blend delivers a consistently smooth, well-balanced cup every time. The flavor is rich with notes of honey, almonds, and just a hint of fruit—never bitter, never too acidic. It produces a beautiful, velvety crema and smells absolutely divine while brewing. I use it with my espresso machine, but it also works great in a French press or drip setup if you grind it accordingly. What keeps me coming back is the quality and consistency. Every bag I’ve opened has been fresh, aromatic, and roasted to perfection. It’s a fantastic value, especially in the bulk box, and it saves me from constantly reordering. If you’re serious about your coffee but don’t want to spend a fortune, Lavazza Super Crema is a no-brainer. I recommend it to everyone from casual coffee drinkers to espresso aficionados. Five stars, every time!

If you like your coffee to have a creamy, smooth, rich taste then lavazza super crema is worth the money. We've used these coffee beans for years and although we've tried others we always come back to these as we can't find anything better. We've drink our coffee black so it's important for it not to be bitter. This coffee is so smooth, with a lovely aroma. The beans are roasted to perfection and stay fresh in the bag - we store ours in the fridge to maintain the quality and freshness of the beans. Would highly recommend.
