Butterfly sardines
Brunswick Butterfly Sardines are excellent quality and a great value. The fish are tender, flavorful, and perfectly packed with a clean, fresh taste that isnโt overly salty or fishy like some other canned sardines. The butterfly cut makes them easy to eat and gives them a nice texture that works well straight from the can, on crackers, or added to salads and toast. What really stands out is the consistency โ every can is well-packed with meaty sardines and just the right amount of oil for richness without being greasy. Theyโre also a fantastic source of protein and omega-3s, making them a healthy and convenient pantry staple. If you enjoy sardines, Brunswick Butterfly Sardines are definitely worth trying. Reliable quality, great taste, and an affordable option for anyone looking for a nutritious snack or quick meal. Highly recommended โ

Shipping Horror- Sardines (in water) Product
Great product, but the shipping time for the spring water version was very slowThe sardines themselves are excellent โ clean flavor, good texture, and exactly what I expect from Brunswick. I have no complaints about the product quality at all.The only issue was the shipping time. It took over 2 weeks to receive the spring water version, which isnโt convenient if youโre trying to restock quickly. Whatโs strange is that the sardines in oil arrived in just 2 days, so the delay seems specific to this version. What I like:โ Great quality sardinesโ Clean tasteโ Boneless and easy to useWhat could be better:โ Shipping time for the spring water versionIf youโre choosing between varieties, you might want to check fasterโshipping sardine options or compare oilโpacked vs waterโpacked sardines.

These are delicious & healthy!!
These are really tasty, very filling way of getting protein and are boneless. Thereโs been just a small amount of skin in one container but it was extremely small & didnโt affect the taste.

These are my husband and sons favorite sardines. They are a bigger size and taste great. Great quality.

Meatier, good taste... not necessarily less sodium than competitor brands.
Read the label. I thought that "No Salt Added" would be healthier than the competitor brand that does not have that label. I was wrong. There is more sodium in this product than the competitor Sardines packed in Olive Oil (14% vs 12%). PLUS... the sardines in olive oil by the competitor has 45% DV Vitamin D vs this brand which has only 4%, and significantly more Calcium (15% vs 6%). The positives of this brand... more protein (33% vs 11%), a few less calories (140 vs 150), a smidgen of potassium (2% vs 0") and less Total Fat (6% vs 16%). Can we believe the competitor labeling? I don't know... why are their sardines so much higher in Vit D and Calcium? It's not from the oil... are sardines that different from different parts of the ocean??? Perhaps it is the fact that these are listed as "Herring" which could attribute to their meatier appearance (these are similar to tuna in appearance and there is less "skin" visible when you open the can).My assumption is that this is a good product for those who may be on a Carnivore diet, given the higher protein levels; but the competitor might be better if looking for something Keto friendly, due to the higher fat and better vitamin content. This product seems "meatier", has great taste and DOES taste less salty. One user suggested adding your own quality olive oil. I prefer this product for the taste and the texture and the fact that there is less skin. Can always get the vitamins from a supplement anyway and if doing the "sardine diet" you should be taking an electrolyte drink anyway to get your potassium and magnesium.

Looking for protein?
Been working on healthy eating. The sardines taste great and are packed with protein. Sometimes hard to find the ones in spring water at the store. This is a great price for 12. I'm definitely eating a lot more often.

NOT Sardines, ingredients say "herring"
This is good, but it's actually not sardines even though it says sardines all over the package, the ingredients say "herring." I called and they told me that they are the same species. I find this very strange to market herring as sardines. My research shows that they are closely related, however, they are indeed not the same. So 100% false advertising.
