Works great... almost to great. It keeps you very warm, but I have to take it off immediately once inside because I get to hot.

The Bele Unisex Winter Heavyweight Mask/Balaclava is one extremely nice piece of clothing. In fact, for hunters and fishers, I wouldn't even call it 'clothing' - I'd call it GEAR!This Balaclava isn't made of of thin material, so the wind is not going to be cutting through it very easily.The main part of it is a hood, drawstrings attached, and that is pretty standard (except for the higher quality material compared to others I have seen marketed at major stores in the US).The hood, however, does not stop at the neck - there's enough material to make sure you can tuck the base of it into your shirt, jacket, whatever, to make you just that much more wind-proof! There is also an interior mask, attached to the hood, that you can leave down or pull up to cover your mouth, or mouth And nose. Snug everything down with the drawstrings and you're going to be loving the protection from wind and cold this headgear provides!The one I have is in basic black. Which is a good thing, since black absorbs radiant heat and coverts it to convection heat. Which means it will keep you even warmer and, from the point of view of someone who's going to be fishing on the Gulf of Mexico in the winter, every little detail helps.The appearance is pretty awesome, really.It'd make a great tactical cover for miltary or law enforcement personel and, for the young or young at heart, it'd make a neat looking Ninja style hood/mask!Prior to receiving my new favorite piece of headgear I had some communications with the nice folks over at Bele/Jewelry-BELE and I have to say: They have Excellent customer service...truly great at communication and I will be doing business with them again in the future. In fact, I just ordered several items from thier Amazon store front, where they offer an interesting range of fairly diverse items.The best thing? This thing really only functions in one way, As a hood. You can pull the mask down, and it will give more warmth to the neck, that's a big plus. You can not really pull the hood back and wear it as a mask, it gets too tight and restricts the throat.It is warm. But its small/tight. Get a fleece Buff, and a had that covers your ears.for $10 its not bad.

I was looking for something more versatile, to keep my neck warm all the time that I could throw the hood up as needed. But there is no wearing this hood down comfortably between the thickness of the material and the multiple layers (hood, mask, gaiter.) I was not expecting the mask to go all the way around, don't know why the back of my head needs a mask. I'll donate it to charity, no doubt a homeless person will appreciate it much more than me.

Even on the coldest Canadian winter days, my face would be warm underneath this hat/maskIt kept my beard from freezing and my ears warm.But, its hard to breath in. The material is thick. Which I why I was so warm, but it was hard to breath so I had to make the sacrifice and my nose would be cold, just so I could breathe. Also, it does feel a bit cheap. If on a budget, get this, just know you may have to let you nose hangout.

For those like myself who have been gifted the head size of ‘big’ol MELON’ this is great! Super soft, very comfy and especially good if you want to receive some interesting looks on the subway!Speedy delivery and is exactly as advertised.

It’s a great item to stay warm on cold days + many ways to wear the product. I’m satisfied and would recommend this product.

but the stitching could be higher quality, first time i tried it on its was tight for my head due to my hair being very bushy and i tired to stretched it end it ripped the threading but nothing to worry i fixed it back up i havent got the chance to wear it outside yet but i think it will be good
