Help keep your kitty cool, calm, and collected with the Pet MasterMind calming herbal cat spray. This spray takes the anxiety out of stressful events such as vet appointments, moving, and more. Review: Calmed my cats! - Worked really well to calm my cats! I got this spray because one of my cats recently had urinary blockage surgery and it is imperative that he stay calm. If he doesn't stay calm, he could become re-blocked. He became blocked because of stress from boarding him for two days, which caused him to stop drinking and eating--we gave him appetite stimulants and anti-nausea medicine, had x-rays, etc but he still wouldn't eat or drink--which is what caused the blockage. So, staying calm after surgery was very important or else he could become blocked again. I sprayed Cool Kitty Cat Calming Pheromone Spray on my cats' beds, in their kennel, and on the carpet at the top of our stairs. As soon as they discovered the smell of the spray in their kennel, they started arguing over who got to be in there! One kitty will be in there and the other one will come over and try to get in as well, sometimes pushing the other one out. We've ordered another kennel to help solve this new problem we have now :) We call the kennel their new cat-mommy, because they will stay in there perfectly content for hours. As for how I perceive the spray, it actually smells nice. I'm very sensitive to smells and perfume often makes me sneeze. If you use scented cat litter you won't even notice the scent of this spray, it is very mild in comparison. I noticed the smell of the spray immediately after spraying it, but haven't noticed the scent since. It seemed to dissipate quickly which I appreciate. I haven't tried the spray yet in a super stressful environment, but I will use the spray the next time we go to the vet and will try to remember to update on how the car ride went. So far, I'm very satisfied with this spray. Review: Smells nice, does pretty much nothing lol - I understand the idea behind the spray. I like the ingredients used. My cat had issues urinating and is overall an anxious cat. Because of the urination issue, he started associating the litterbox with pain and would go outside the litterbox. I purchased this spray in hopes that it would calm him down and help him to relearn the litterbox was safe. The spray smelt nice-- it smelt of lavender. It also happened to be good for eliminating the strong smell of cat urine in my apartment when my cat went through this issue. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to calm him down at all, and the sound of spray bottles freaked him out lol. I probably wouldn't purchase this product again unless it was dirt cheap. If you're looking for something to calm down your cat with, I recommend some organic cat nip! When ingested, my kitties seem to mellow out right away.

I think it works!
I'm not sure that this product worked, but it definitely didn't make things worse! I got a new housemate who has a 2 y/o male tabby and this stressed out the resident, 7 y/o female tabby, who hasn't had the most pleasant experiences living with other cats. Being the resident, she knew there was an enemy about and was not pleased. I expected her to be anxious about the new housemates but I didn't expect her to start peeing outside of her box! She had never done that before - maybe an accidental poo every once in a blue moon - but NEVER pee anywhere. I got a little concerned so we started doing some more research and kept the cats separated unless we were home to supervise their interaction. We fed them at meal times, played with them together, brushed them together - basically did all of the "fun" stuff with the cats together so that my cat would start to form a positive association. I also used Cool Kitty around all of the females' territories and favorite spots. She is afraid of the spray noise (not sure why - she was a rescue so maybe someone from her past sprayed her with water when she was being bad), so I would spray her areas when she wasn't around. Only a week after the new housemate's move-in, they are getting along quite well and playing catch with each other and spending time in the same room peacefully. I've been re-spraying her spots on a daily basis and I don't notice her smelling the area as if there is a strange smell there. I take that as a good sign. For humans, Cool Kitty has a really nice scent - it smells like lavender to me and I L-O-V-E the scent of lavender. I am going to continue to use the spray and I think another good test will be spraying her carrier because she HATES going in that thing. Maybe I'll spray my car as well the next time I take her out. Will write an update when that happens :)

Calms you, may not calm your cat...
Smells wonderfully and all-natural like... Not sure if it really dos much for our crankalicious cat. We've tried treats, sprays, cat plug-ins ... May be time to get her some kitty Xanax.

Poor quality and worse customer service
Followed instructions exactly -- cat has not gone near bedding since then. Certainly NO calming effect whatsoever, and my cat responds very positively to other products, e.g. Feliway. Usually, I would have just written off this off as a bad purchase that did not work for my cat. However, I felt compelled to leave an honest and unflattering review after receiving multiple emails from the company after unsubscribing and asking specifically not to be contacted. Consequently, after making this purchase, I feel not only like I wasted my money, but also harrassed. I will never buy anything from the maker of this product again.

Not a Micacle, BUT....
I know everyone wants a 'miracle' fix...this isn't one BUT it did work pretty well on one of my two cats. We recently got a new puppy and tensions were high. The pup is super playful, and the cats didn't understand what this whining ball of fur wanted with them. The more jittery cat has responded well to this spray. I even caught her touching noses with the new pup and rolling on the floor in front of her. It didn't last long cause the puppy was like 'play?' But it's the most interaction they've had in the 3 weeks we've had the new puppy. Now my other cat, who is a year older seems immune. She is just as grumpy as ever. So i would say the product does work, but it also depends on the cat.
