Temperature control gradient from all reefer only to all freeze only. For its size, there is a lot of space. Quiet--very quiet. The door does not grab or hold hard when closed. Make sure something is NOT SLIGHTLY keeping the door from shutting all the way, I use it as a reefer. Holds all my reefer things with space to spare--just myself. Arrived with excellent protective packaging.

I like that it uses the space efficiently. it is well designed. I use a chest freezer as a separate freezer. The fridge seems to cool evenly ; is very quiet, I have only had it a week so I can't speak to the reliability. I recommend getting a 5 year plan on any refrigeration units. They are expensive to fix and I have bought other brands that broke after a year. Had mine a few years now, bought a second one for a different house. Works great , no issues. Overall it is a nice refrigerator. The door handle swap took a while. Maybe I should have read the instructions.

We are very pleased with this purchase. It's quiet, fits our space perfectly and is life changing in providing accessible freezer space We are using as a freezer to supplement our drawer freezer in our refrigerator. I would like to have one additional glass shelf and have emailed the Support center for Galanz to see if this is an option. The freezer temp has stayed consistent and it got to temp quickly. I love the wheels on the back making maneuvering so easy. We adjusted the leveling feet on the front , added the handle to door and inserted the caps in the holes we did not use for the adjustable door opening. SO happy with this purchase to date!! I highly recommend. **** UPDATE - terrible product. Worked as I described for about 6 months, then the fan noise became intolerable. Called for warranty service - great local company however it took months to get replacement parts. Had to throw away @ $600 worth of frozen meat and meals I prepped. Got the repair done and it worked for about a month, then wasn't cooling enough for freezer setting. Lost more food, and had a second repair that took about 2 months to get authorized and new parts. 2nd repair was completed, although the freezer setting is still not working. Galanz refunded our money but I have no freezer again.

I like the size of this upright freezer. I got it to replace a chest freezer. It doesn't hold as much as I thought it would, but that's ok, because I don't need to feed an army. It freezes very quickly. The only issue I really have is that I have to hold on to the freezer when I open the door, otherwise I pull it out several feet without the door ever opening. But, I'd rather it have too strong of a deal than have a bad seal.

While this may seem like an inexpensive unit, it performs quite well. It is light and keeps food near the set temperature, I use a separate refrigerator/freezer thermometer to verify this. I have yet to see a significant deviation from the set temperature. I love the feature of this unit being able to be used as a refrigerator or a freezer. This is the second unit I purchased, one as a refrigerator and one as a freezer. There is only one con and that is it only comes with preset temperature and does not allow you to set it otherwise as other manufacturers do. Also, mine arrived with a damaged door and their customer service took care of me. I highly recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a refrigerator or a freezer. You will not be disappointed.

I wanted to wait for a bit before I reviewed the freezer. I chose this one because of the cu ft and price. I didn't realize it could be used as a fridge too until going over the instructions. The temperature is Celsius for freezer and Fahrenheit for refridgerator. I wanted it as a large freezer and it hasn't really gone below 16 degrees. There was little ice formation, but it melted. It makes very little noise. Nothing to disturb you during a call or movie. It is much quieter than an air conditioner. Also I have no dents, dings, scrapes, misalignment or missing parts. Amazon delivery brought it in my kitchen which is through my back door where majority of my deliveries come. I wish it was in black. I recommend it.

I loved this freezer until it started making really loud noises and then it just died. Purchased a $26 fan and fixed it. Fan was fairly easy to install. I was unable to locate the exact fan so I used DA31-00287B Refrigerator Evaporator Fan and changed the wire connections to match original to new fan.

The Freezer did an excellent job until it 12th month when it became very noisy when the compressor was running. Contacted Galanz by website and phone only required me to send into Galanz more data including a code on the power plug. I needed to know whether the freezer was about to die or did something need to be repaired as it was still under the 1 year warranty. After many contacts by phone and email all I ever received was the run around and that my case had been passed onto the appropriate personnel. Since it was obvious that Galanz was not going to provide any assistance I started looking for another small freezer that would fit into the available space. After weeks of searching I found another freezer and replaced the Galanz with it last week. Galanz does not back up their product and obviously only tries to delay any commitment on their part when problems arise until the warranty expires. The freezer did not die but the noise convinced me that time was limited until it would die. Buyer beware. I would never purchase another Galanz product. Their customer service rates ZERO!
