Doesn't leak. Easy to install
There is nothing fancy or special about this, but it works without leaks and that is certainly the most important thing with this purchase. Fit my Mansfield toilet without any issue. I did not have difficulty chasing the bolts or gasket out.

Yes, this works! Easy install with no leaks.
Great easy to install for your Mansfield toilet rebuild! I did an internal rebuild on my original 26-year old Mansfield toilet. I used a Flowmaster all in one kit but substituted the tank to bowl screws with these because the other screws are more difficult to install and have had leaking issues in the past. These were easy to install and no special wrenches needed for tightening. Just hand tighten and maintain so itโs level and away from the wall so lid fits as it should. I went ahead and bought another set so Iโm ready when doing the same project on my upstairs bathroom.

Much Better Than Generic Kits
I tried generic, after market kits and they all leaked; inevitably costing me double the work. The key to this design is tightening each bolt down to make the seal. A few extra turns makes all the difference. Easy to install and works very well. Highly recommended.

Exact replacement. Installing is a pain.
I bought this because I had a slow leak from one of the original screws. This solved the problem after a little trial and error. There are two flaws with this design. First is that you have to tighten all the screws evenly at the same time. This means, once they're snug, giving 1/4 to 1/2 turn on each screw in turn. If you try to tighten one screw all the way and then move to the next it will cause the tank to sit at an angle. The second issue is that the same nut tightening the tank to the bowl is also what applies sufficient force to hold the rubber to the tank hole to prevent a leak. So if any of the screws aren't tight enough you end up with a slow leak. Generic screws generally have two nuts. One holds the gasket to the bowl to prevent a leak and the second holds the bowl to the toilet. To be fair, i'm not sure which design is better. The last thing to watch out for is that the holes to attach the tank to the bowl are lower than the normal flush hole. So any residual water will drain out the first screw you loosen. It's a lot more water than it looks like too, so make sure you have a bucket ready. A towel isn't enough.

Long lasting/perfect replacement
The best option Iโve come across for replacing old leaky bolts. These last so much longer and are easy to install.

Easy to install, and it works great.
I originally purchased two different tank to bowl repair kits at a local home improvement store. Those kits contained multiple rubber and steel washers, and steel nuts that were suppose to seal the tank. I installed each set multiple times, but I was never able to stop the leakage. I could not find a label on the commode or tank showing the manufacturer's brand, but I now think it's a Mansfield 160 with a three bolt attachment. The Mansfield kit was much simpler to install, the rubber gasket fit perfectly, the three bolts each have a built in rubber seal and nylon locking nuts. This kit sealed perfectly the first time, and seems far less likely to damage the tank or bowl porcelain. There is a YouTube video from Mansfield that takes all the guesswork out of the process.
